I was employed from 1/2021-12/2022. I started Cobra health insurance 1/2023 I have been making regular monthly payment to CobraHealth, most recent $829.00 per month. I was recently made aware by my doctor's ****** that I do not have insurance. I first contacted ********* who assured me it was an error. When I contacted Horizon I was told the policy was terminated 8/31/2023. I immediately contact ********* an dwas told they would look into it. I then recieved a letter from *******************************, a senior account manager at CobraHelp, stating," Apple ********************* (owner of Prospect Hts) did not pay the premiums and the plan was terminated." "We collect your payments and remit to them." She gave me the number for Apple Health HR ************, for me to call and attempt to get my money refunded. I did call and left numerous messages on voice mail but have not recieved a return call. Apple Health Consortium is located at *********************************************. I have paid over $7200 to CobraHelp and now am getting billed hundreds of dollars from doctors and my dentists, never mind paying oop for my medications. I need someone to help me. If they at least notified me of cancellation I would have saved thousands of dollars and could have found other coverage. As it stand right now, I am uninsured and very nervous about that.
