I am filing a complaint against Autospot LLC regarding a cancelled vehicle purchase and unresolved issues with my trade-in. Complaint Details: I attempted to finance a 2017 Mazda 3 through Autospot LLC, but later discovered that the dealership’s finance manager misrepresented the vehicle's features to the lender to secure approval. After informing Capital One and learning the loan was not finalized, I canceled the transaction and returned the vehicle on April 2, 2025. Despite the cancellation, Autospot LLC kept my trade-in vehicle and has only offered $150 compensation without clear documentation of the vehicle’s disposal. I was told I would receive proof if it was sent to a junkyard, but that has not been provided. Additionally, the dealership has refused to disclose the vehicle’s current status or provide further documentation. I am seeking appropriate compensation for the full value of my trade-in or documentation explaining its status. I believe the dealership's conduct has been misleading and unfair, and I request BBB’s assistance in resolving this matter. Thank you for your time and support.

I bought a car from this dealership on 11/9/24 when I went in on 11/8/24 to set up the deal originally tried to get my own financing through my bank which I was told would mean I was concerted cash pricing. That ended up not working and I decided to go through the dealership for financing. They told me the price of the car would change but that was it. When we went over the financing options the rep offered me 6 years originally and I declined that and told him I wanted a four year loan because I wanted it to match with my warranty l. So I ended up going with a 5 year loan cause the bank dident offer 4 years. I was still never told my warranty was going to be changed. The price on the warranty options I was given by the dealership the price on my contact was 2900 which was the advertised pricing for the four year bumper to bumper warranty. I tried to call the dealership and address this and their only answer is that pricing is only for cash deals well no where on the forms they provided to me does it say that and no one ever said that was in was completing the deal.

Car was purchased on 1/30/2024 for $10,755.00. Within the first few months I had to replace the radiator fan, and a hose. Radiator fan was covered, but I still had a deductible, the hose that I had to have replaced was not covered, and I had to pay $700.00 out of pocket, a few months later I go to start my car outside of the gym, and it would not start. Took it to one shop and the said it could be a piston, but they did not work on engines. So then I had to take it to another place that specializes in engines, and they informed me that the ENGINE WAS DONE! And I also had to get the starter replaced. This was in August. I had all of these things happen within the first 8 months of having the car. Yes it is under warranty, but I sill had to pay deductibles both times. The engine deductible was almost 1K. Had this been a year or two from now I would not have minded, but my car has been in the shop this year longer than I have had it. It takes adjusters a very long time to come out and look at your car. I reached out to the company twice when I had my initial issue, no response. But when I reached out to by the car, I had like 5 people following up. Now obviously I cant get a full refund or return the car, but I am requesting that they give me some type of compensation, this is absolutely insane. The worst part about this when I had my car in the shop HALF OF THE YEAR, I still had to make the car and insurance payments. I am hoping they have some type of empathy when it comes to their customers, and will compensate me somehow. Thank you.

I purchased a used car from this company on December 16th of 2024. They sold me the car without the physical title and told me they would have it in 7-10 days. It is now 17 days later and they still do not have the title. Keep in mind I have to file for permanent registration of the vehicle within 30 days of purchase. I also was forced to pay almost $1000 in dealer fees that include the transfer of title and registration of the vehicle. They have given me the temporary registration and plate and said I have to do the permanent registration myself but the haven’t given me the Title of the car to do so. As far as I know the car should have only been sold with the title in hand.

I purchased a 2017 VW Jetta from this dealership yesterday and noticed some issues at the time of purchase, including ripped seats and a broken mirror. While these were not mentioned during my initial discussions with Josh R. , I accepted the vehicle with a discount. However, shortly after driving off, the airbag light came on, and I later discovered that the right side of the radio screen is not functioning. These additional issues are concerning, and I feel that the number of problems with the vehicle is more than I can overlook.

I was sold a car that would NEVER pass a inspection in NJ. I was handed a temporary inspection. They claimed it only had a singular problem but it had several issues where it wouldn't pass any inspection.

I purchased a 2016 Subaru Forester from auto spot LLC on 10/3/24. On 10 five I noticed a waterline mark on the driver side floorboard immediately I took it to a mechanic to get it looked at and was told that the car seem to have had damage unfortunately, the mechanic could not put it on a lift at that time to several cars having appointments so I made an appointment for a certified Subaru dealership on 10 nine. on 10 five I drove back to the auto spot LLC to inform them about the warm water damage that was found and was told that it was bad detailing. I notified them that I had an appointment with Subaru to do a full diagnostic test and I was told to send the report to them. After getting the test done & finding out the car had severe water damage in the engine and the undercarriage. I returned the car on 10/11 to auto spot LLC and asked for full refund after supplying them with all my evidence both written and full video of the cars damage. I was emailed by Auto Spot they let me know that they will NOT refund me because the damage is minor.

I purchased a 2011 Nissan Juke on 7/3/24 from Auto Spot LLC with a 3 months ********** plan from ************** **** with the dealership as Auto Spot Inc. The car was having issues from day one which I dealt with on my own expense. On 8/25/24 the car stopped and was towed to different mechanics for $889. Mr. Steven F.  from Auto Spot said to take it to **** Inc. who will fix it. ********** **** is refusing to approve repairs for the transmission and requested for a picture of it which will cost about $600. Jacky from **** informed me that they gave ********** **** 3 different scenarios to fix the car and they refused claiming it is a pre existing condition. When I purchased the car and the ********** **** information was intentionally not given to me that would have allowed me to know the costs associated with repairs of the covered parts and to make an informed decision to whether buy the car or not. I was only given a one page contract that listed transmission as a covered part. After the car broke down, I was told that there are 11 other pages of terms and conditions for the contract that were not given to me by the dealership. if I have known about the additional costs such as $60 per hour as a copay responsibility and the many others additional fees to repair covered parts, I would have never purchased the car in the first place. I was deceived and conned by the dealership and would like to return the car for a refund.
