On 08-08-22 I purchased a 2011 suburban from Hawthorne Chevrolet. They sold me a lemon, when I drove my vehicle home on day of purchase it shut down on me 6 times and engine light came on. I immediately emailed and text the dealer to let them know the situation. Was scheduled for a diagnosis on 8-10-22 and told the issue was the battery cables. Waited another week for them to order piece and change it. The cables were not the problem, when I drove off after they changed the cables truck shut down again one block away. Took it back to service and was told by ***** the service manager the problem is ECM and he said he ordered the part and will call me in a week to schedule appointment. I called this week and was told from parts department there was no order placed for my truck, ***** never returned my calls. Spoke to ******************* my sales rep and he tells me that I would have to pay half of the bill. Thats unacceptable since they knew my truck was sold to me with a bad ECM. Now Im stuck with a truck that cant pass inspection.
