    The moment we entered their store with my special needs son who is wheelchair-bound, the lady near the cashier already gave my son a disgusted look. Only one blonde lady was nice enough to greet us and I even gave them a compliment about their store decorations. The same lady who gave my son a disgusted look asked me and my husband what we're looking for and we said "We're looking for the shopping cart." She said, with a haughty attitude, "It's outside". We found the cart far away from the entrance so that's why we didn't see them on our way into the store. I tried not to take it in a bad way until another blonde lady had a nasty attitude and told us to go outside when my son, who is teething from his 2nd molars started choking on his saliva and coughed to clear his throat. She didn't even bother to ask how my son was. She immediately said that because of COVID, they have to take precautions. My son just had a negative COVID result before we took him out to enjoy the farm.I understand the precautions because I am a ******** Care nurse but I was taken aback by her nasty attitude while saying " THIS IS NOT A MEDICAL FACILITY!" Clearly, we knew when we went there that it was a FARM but she was CLEARLY BEING DISCRIMINATORY AGAINST THE DISABLED when she mentioned that it's not a medical facility. I hope that this kind of discrimination will be prevented from happening to other disabled persons. It's not just what they say, it's how they say it. Discrimination in any form is never right!

    I normally do not respond to customers venting on reviews. However, this review is not truthful. I am sorry you did not have an enjoyable time at the farm. In regard to discrimination absolutely not true. We understand your son is disabled and it is a very delicate situation. The manager seeing you had a nurse with you and after fifteen minutes of suctioning your son's mouth in the store, we thought it was more appropriate to ask you to move to a more private area. With covid, many people are sensitive to different situations. During the time you were in the store we had five customer complaints in regards to what was occurring, so we tried to make the situation better. I am truly sorry you feel the way you do. God Bless you and your family and may we both learn from every experience in life.

    First of all, can you please identify yourself and your position in this business so we know whose inaccurate comment this came from?Because if you weren't there, then you wouldn't know the truth. It will be a hearsay.Secondly, my family has no problem with the farm itself. Like I said, I even complimented the decorations. Your response to my review, in and of itself, is not truthful. It just shows that you're condoning the abhorrent, rude, berating and discriminating behavior of the staff against my disabled son.The manager assumed that the gentleman with my son is a nurse but he's not. He wasn't even wearing a nurse's uniform to denote that. In fact, he's a family friend. Therefore, your statement alone connotes implicit bias.The cashier looked at my son with disgust when he first entered the store in his wheelchair. The manager yelled at us, while we were on our way out that it's "NOT A MEDICAL FACILITY!" Would she say that if it was another child who did not have a medical condition and just coughed to clear his throat? Would you call that "appropriate"? If you think it's not discrimination, what do you call it then?Like you said, "it's a very delicate situation" so it behooves the owners and the staff to be more compassionate and handle the situation in a more humane way, starting with effective communication which is an integral part of good customer service. And that is the ABSOLUTE TRUTH...
