I bought a 2018 ***** Accord from Foreign Auto Imports and the car was originally $19,000.00 on carfax. When I arrived at the dealership, the salesman, ***** assured me that the car would be that amount. I had a down payment of $******.00 so the remaining balance was $8,000.00 but as i am looking at the documents, he charged me over $26,000.00 for that car and used my down payment as a way to get the car to $19,000.00. When we were finalizing everything for my financing, he told me that the car was $19,000 and he was using my ****** to make the payment go down when he in fact just made the car more money and totally scammed me. As a resolution to the problem, i would appreciate a type of reimbursement since he overcharged me

I was mislead and lied to by Manager ******* or salesperson ******. They are very deceiving and scammers. They attempted to make me believe their numbers. I was shocked when I double-checked with my bank/creditor. I Walked in with 2 great credit scores 800+, money for down payment and trade in, all they had to do was call my creditor because I was pre-qualified. They worked with our creditor Capitol One, it shouldn't of been a problem. Yeah right. They ran multiple credit applications WITHOUT MY HUSBAND AND I PERMISSION to the same creditor, my creditor for the same vehicle which caused multiple hard inquiries on my credit report. I authorize one based on pre-qualified offer summary and reference number which they DID NOT USE AFTER ASSURING ME THEY WOULD. When I called *********** because they wouldnt provide me a breakdown of a payment that was ridiculous higher than quotes from my pre-qualification ($200+ dollars monthly). *********** exposed them on a conference call while there, they were caught in lie after lie, from the advertised and confirmed price I was given, ************* I asked for in offer summary but not added and no Warranty coverage despite the fact that I was told I had. They went from offering ****** to over 36k before all of "their" fees. ******* continued to walk out of the office when the call was in progress. I didn't know the snake was logged into another computer and making edits to credit applications to cover his lies. *********** helped me with timestamps to confirm what was being done behind our backs to try and cover up their inflation of numbers that they did not want to disclose. I've bought multiple vehicles from dealerships, but this was the worst experience. They are a joke. No itemized bill or contract but want me to sign before finalizing or providing a real contract. I promise you if you read their recent reviews. This is not the 1st time. I wish I went SOMEWHERE ELSE. It's not worth it.

to whom it may concern, this statement is very inaccurate and misrepresented , the dealership sent your credit information to ONLY ONE BANK that you choose which was *********** and never sent it to other bank based on your request so having MULTIBALE INQURIES on you credit is a completely NOT TRUE , secondly the pre qualify letter the customer had from *********** is not a final approval just like any other financial institute advertising their pre approval but still need to look at your credit and the whole application again for a final approval at the time of purchase so we have no control over this and it would mention all of this on the preapproval letter fine print, as far as the gap or warranty we are required to offer that to you at the time of the sale and you have to right to accept or decline those product, should you choose to buy or participate in any of those programs then it will come as an additional cost on top of vehicle price NOT FREE so naturally the total price will increase which will result in the payment going higher that what you anticipated due to increase loan amount, as far as fees goes we have to add all the government fees and Dmv fees on top of everything else which will also result in increasing the over all price of the vehicle, hopefully we can be of the customer assistance on a another occasion or another car that can fit their challenging budget of $200 a month. Thank you very much and good luck

I paid $4,900 for a 2007 ****** Camry hybrid.Which left me with a $1000 balance on the car in March of 2022. I was never given a license plate only a temp tag that expired in 30 days. I was told that I would have to pay the $1000 and a registration fee of $500in order to get my permanent plates for the car. I went through a finical loss after losing my mother and having to pay for a funeral. I paid $500 in March of 2023 which left me with a $500 balance on the car.i I still was not given a new temp tag or a license plate for the car. My car was towed April 20th of 2023 for expired temp tag. I went to foreign Auto imports and told them my car had been towed and asked for the title or the updated registration of the car they told me they cannot find it and will call me the following day. I waited the following day and was told it was a Muslim holiday so they weren't in and they will contact me Saturday morning.I called that Saturday and the general manager *** told me he had a solution because he could not find the title or the registration and said that since it's been a year they did not have access to it.once I got to the dealership I realized that there wasn't a solution besides them trying to make me finance a new car which I was confused about and did not want to do so I left after realizing what they were trying to do. Monday morning I decided to go back to the dealership and speak to them in person after the assistant refused to transfer my call. Taz the general manager stated he would give me another car of equal value of my car they previously sold me all I had to do was pay the $500 for the previous car to close out the case and give them an extra $2000 for the new car. I refused again. After stating how I felt he then began to say maybe they could find the title and search for it when that's all I've been asking for since April 20th of 2023 it is now April 26th of ********************************************************************* registration.

To whom it may concern, the customer purchased the vehicle in march of 2022 and entered into an agreement to make payments on the car until the balance is paid off, the dealership has been trying to collect any of the contracted promised payments but was not successful for a period of THIRTEEN LONG MONTHS trying to get in touch with the customer who completely ignored all kinds of communications, finally when the car was towed away the customer decides to contact the dealership to try and get the car out of the impound and even after all this time and all the late charges that was supposed to be added to the balance for being over a YEAR late was still trying to work with the customer to try and fix the problem but as she stated that she refused any kind of idea to help her , further more that the customer failed to mention is that the dealership was willing to help her but she insisted that the dealer pay for all the tow and the storage fees that was charged to her by the impound then when we refused she brought in a person with her that introduced him self as just got released from prison and we know how to get **, the police was called on both of them thats when they finally left the property after trying to intimidate the employees and customers.the balance on the car has to be paid in full in addition to all the all charges on the loan..

      Complaint: 19985100
I am rejecting this response because: The dealership is lying about me rejecting any help from them, I have multiple videos of me going back to the dealership for a total of nearlyfour weeks. I was open to receiving help which was only two options, To refinance or choose another car as is and still pay more out of pocket for another car to cover the balance of the car they was trying to give me this happened the first two weeks of me going back to the dealership, when I initially only wanted to get the title of the car which THEY HAVE NOT PROVIDED and STILL have not provided since my car was towed for expired registered. I also went the first week alone and then the second week came back with my two sisters because they were more experienced in buying cars  better at negotiating and would be witness to what management was offering. This was my first time ever purchasing a car I was never informed that I was supposed to receive temporary plates within thirty days and no one has contacted me. They have NEVER tried to reach out to me and NEVER provided me with any plates and when they stated that they did and said they have proof I asked for It and in which they diverted the conversation i have had the same number for 7years and i have proof via my call log from my service provider that they have never tried to contact me until 2023 of march AFTER i came in and brung an additional $500 on the balance that was owed, they then contacted me a week before April of 2023 asking about the remaining $600. I came back to the dealership on May 11, 2023  with a family friend after receiving a bill of sale in the beginning of May from the store manager which made this my 8th visit to the dealership. The ** said it would be enough for me to get my car registered and that they wouldnt charge me the remaining balance of $600 because they could not find the title or registration his exact word's "go get the car and after u get the car its yours you dont owe ** anything" which i also have a recording of for my records.but It wasn't enough for me to register the car I called and the store manager told me to come in after we spoke via phone and that they had other cars for me to look at ALL which would be sold to me as is I looked at 2 cars. 1 which was below the price I paid for the original car and the other had a bad transmission. I asked if I would be reimbursed any money if I took the car that was below what I originally paid for the other car the ** responded no, I then said I just wanted the title of the original car because it had no problems or issues The ** constantly tried to persuade me to finance another car and even asked the family friend to co sign for me in which I had to continue to say NO I cannot afford it. The family friend I brung then informed the ** that the dealership could easily get the car out of the pound if they didnt have the title by simply using their dealers license the ** said okay and then informed me i would be responsible for paying the holding fee  we then Proceeded to call the towing company who towed the car and found out the amount would be almost $400 I agreed to pay for it I just wanted the dealership to get it out n i would pay  the holding fee. The ** left out of his office and came back and demanded **** and said give me a thousand dollars and I'll give you your title which was a bluff because the family friend called him on it and said here is the $**** and he said okay give me 2weeks to find it EVEN though it has now been almost a month of them not providing the title or registration because they don't have it. I refused to give him an additional $**** that i didnt owe btw for him to simply look for a title they dont have and couldn't provide since April 17 after that the ** said it was nothing more he could do. The family friend then proceeded to call the cops after dealing with the ** and what he calls trying to help me by trying to force me to either pay him more money for a car that he didnt have a title too, put me in a car that wasn't good or to finance I asked for a simple refund and he refused. The cops came and recorded the whole incident the cops also asked if they had the title to the car and they couldn't provide it EVERYTHING Is recorded on the cops video and the video in their dealership and highly confused to why he would lie about every encounter knowing he has video and auto in his office that shows the complete opposite of what he is saying I am DISGUSTED  with this dealership I no longer want to do any business with this dealership they are liars and scammers I just want my money back. I should have read the reviews on this business before I decided to purchase anything they are all bad and or saying that they have scammed people out of their money as well.

I am rejecting this response because:
Why am I paying a balance for a car the dealership doesn't have a title to. It has now been a month and still no title. I have been inconvenienced to the *** because of this dealership I want my money back or a car that is EQUAL value to what I have paid that is not a lemon.
They are still hungry for money when they have inconvenienced me from the very start of this whole process. I would prefer to handle this before I involve lawyers and local news networks and make the community aware of this place so that no other hard working single mothers are taken advantage of.
