I had hired this company to come open my pool. They never gave me a time just said late afternoon. They finally show up and one gentleman starts walking around my pool and steps on my cover and rips it. Doesnt say anything until I point it out. We get into an argument when I tell him he needs to buy me a new cover or fix it. He says Im he didnt do it and leave with the other guys with him. I called the company and they said their guys didnt do it and refused any solution. I would like to have my cover fixed if not replaced.Business response

Good Morning. These claims are plain wrong. Lester Pools had Just arrived on the job site to begin the pool opening. There were many large branches laying around the perimeter of the pool which most likely caused this damage to the pool cover. Not even 2 min after we arrived, we were being yelled at by the customer from across the yard who adamantly was trying to blame a hole in the cover on us. From simple observation, it was clear to us that the pool cover was very old and in rough shape. We left the site without even beginning of the job as we were being attacked.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:there were no large branches anywhere near the pool cover. And I was only yelling across the pool because thats as where the gentleman was standing and one of the guys had a leaf blower on cleaning around the pool. It was not yelling to attack them it was yelling over a loud machine so they can hear. Once the gentleman came over to me we spoke without yelling and when I said I want him to fix it he got mad and stormed off. The cover is not old and was in perfect condition until they arrived. They should pay for a patch that I now have to get which cost on Amazon 31 bucks
