      I am formally submitting a complaint on ******'s Moving. They moved my things from *********** to **************** on November 2023. As they arrived earlier than my new place was available, MOISHES offered to store them 'at no additional charge' in South *******. Three weeks later, their 'local' mover delivered. Boxes opened, tampered with. Reviewing what arrived vs my inventory files, many things were missing - including a top-of the line vacuum cleaner!! - I filed the complain immediately - sharing pictures - and they asked me for a list and to fill out claim form. MOISHES RESPONSE - verbatum: "we are not responsible as this was a third party that we don't even know". AFTER this, it is my mission to make sure this acknowledged. MOSTLY knowing Mr. **** and his pro-art **** Centers in ** and JC have been apparently good to the art community.

      It is unfortunate the experience you had with ******'s moving, Upon looking back at the email threads I can give more information as to what should have been stated to clarify. It is understood your pick up location is from a third party storage, Pertaining to the condition of the items at storage and or what items may be stored; Upon arriving the crew noticed that the boxes that were stored in your unit were not packed correctly as boxes were not filled causing a delicacy with the boxes which movers then adjusted and taped on site. If boxes are not packed correctly/carefully and are stacked it can cause the boxes to cave. ******'s cannot confirm as to whether you or anyone who has access to your unit might have been in or out. We also cannot confirm if any items might've been removed from the unit ahead of time prior to the date of vacating. ******'s conducts an inventory of items that are being picked up/dropped off and can confirm that the items picked up at your storage facility were the items delivered to you. It is understood you had a pleasant move with ******'s movers and we do apologize for not giving more clarity on the information that was given to you.

      Moishes movers stole my golf clubs worth $2,438 in early June 2022 during my move and reimbursed me $100 in October 2022 for the stolen clubs. I was patient with them and hopeful that they would return my golf clubs. Do not hire Moishes. They are snakes, and online reviews will confirm that sentiment.       Moishes Moving Systems failed to disclose the method used to calculate final charges for my move in advance and withheld information regarding its lack of multiple certifications to haul my possessions for the agreed-upon price. This deceptive practice delayed my move and resulted in additional rent fees and utility charges levied upon me at my former residence, as well as bearing the additional cost of a second truck, which was not disclosed during the estimate process or in writing. After an in-person estimate to move a two-bedroom, single-floor dwelling 175 miles, an estimate for $3900 was provided based on the number of items to be moved. I asked if the company would do the job for $3750 and Moishe's agreed to that price. I was promised a 26-foot truck with four men for a short-haul move. So long as my contents fit in the truck and stayed within the maximum cubic-foot capacity of the truck, I was told there would be no additional charges. I was assured I had the entire truck to fill regardless of the number of items or cubic feet. On moving day, the crew arrived and the ******* immediately declared that my cargo would be overweight and there would be an additional charge of $800 in order to secure a second truck because the truck was not certified to carry more than ****** pounds and the driver lacked the correct license. After a day of negotiation, they dropped the additional cost to $600 and I reluctantly agreed with no other options. After the move was completed, upon inspecting my possessions, I discovered that a five-foot-tall mirror with a replacement value of $1500 was missing and Moishe's made no effort to locate the "lost" item. **************** offered no explanation or apology for the lost property. I found Moishe's to be a deceptinve, dishonest and disreputable company. Beware before doing business with them. I have filed a formal complaint with FMCSA.

      In acknowledgement to what was stated I can assure that ******'s moving did apologize the moment we reached out in regards to the lost item, we also stated in the email that the ****** was questioned as well as the truck was searched for the claimed missing item, A claim form was sent and we were willing to proceed. All charges have been stated in advance when receiving the quote that was signed for. The quote initially received is the guaranteed quote but it is also stated the final amount *** be different if the inventory is increased which on the day of the move due to the change in capacity we were not able to service this customer with 1 truck as this was a short haul move and we were abiding by DOT regulations and our policies that we have in place. It was not that our driver was not correctly licensed as ALL Moishe's drivers are licensed correctly in order to drive for our company. All details were given to the customer in advance via phone before going forth with applying the charges to his account which the customer confirmed and we proceeded with the move. The day of the second part to the move we were willing to give the customer a discounted price for any inconveniences that *** have been caused in good faith of using ******'s moving.

      A really terrible experience. Similar to what others have noted in their reviews, they showed up hours late and called 10 minutes before the end of the move window to tell me that there would be a new 4 hour window. They came 2.5 hours after the end of the original window. All because workers did not show up for work according to the dispatch. This company has no back up plans in situations like this. Also the movers that showed up - out of three only one seemed to be actively working. I could go on - I've posted lengthy reviews elsewhere. Do not use this company unless you are storing things for someone you hate. Lets hope all my stuff is in tact and available when it comes time to retrieve. During the move, the head mover was slow, arrived unprepared without room in the back of the truck for my stuff. They took about 20 minutes to rearrange the back of their truck (moving other peoples stuff out of the way???) Then knowing I was running late to catch my flight which I would have not problem with if they even came at the end of the original window.Also with three people they were so slow! I was moving from a convenient building with a freight elevator and side door exit for moving. My move from a 4th floor walk up with two movers took 45 minutes to load the truck.Anyway avoid this company. I am still sorting out what is going on with my stuff and why the company is missing certain documents i signed on the day of. Also for being this incompetent you would think that they would know how to mitigate the situation - but no. they are rude, hang up the phone and say things like, "i don't know what to tell you". Have yet to have anyone from the company address the situation. Do not use - discount is not worth it. This company has no ethics and they seem to be winging business operations.

      ******'s moving moves forward in being transparent as possible when our customers are receiving the initial ********************** quote based on the detail given from the client. It was requested a crate as well as an additional stop was then added to the file which reflected a change in balance. We did not go forth with conducting the move as the customer did not approve the price under our policies.

      DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.I recently used Moishes for a long distance move from ** to TX. I am currently missing thousands of dollars worth of personal belongings. I AM MISSING MY COFFEE TABLE.NONE of my clothes were delivered. I AM MISSING ALL OF MY WINTER COATS and SHOES. I literally have no clothes other than what I put into a suitcase.NONE of my dishes / kitchen items were delivered. I'm also missing lamps, and other home decor.My bed also arrived damaged. There are scratches all over my wooden headboard that were NOT present at the time of my move. I paid over $4K for this move out of my own pocket, with my hard owned money. with the expectation that my belongings would be handled and delivered PROPERLY with care.I SHOULD NOT BE MISSING thousands of dollars worth of my personal belongings. Not to mention that the delivery was LATE with little to no communication / updates. I had to reach out every time to receive a proper update.The entire move was completely rushed. The delivery guy, ******* looked like he hadn't showered in over a week. He was literally dripping sweat all over the place and stinking up my apartment. He smelled horrible.His partner was erratic and looked like he was cracked out on drugs to looking for his next hit. He seemed to be high on speed / or some type of drug. Eyes bucked out of his head. He was literally moving so fast, running boxes into my walls and he also broke the handle of one of my closet doors. I had to ask him multiple times to slow down.He was moving so fast, he smacked himself in the face with a chair....as he was taking out of a box. He had very chaotic energy. I was completely used to sign the papers without properly checking to see if everything was even accounted for. ****** (the mover) kept reassuring that everything was there. I was honestly so on edge with both movers, I JUST WANTED THEM OUT OF MY HOME. THE ENERGY WAS SO CHAOTIC AND DARK.I'm ****** and stressed completely over this entire experience. I could literally cry.

      Although this review was received; ******'s moving can confirm that all of her items were delivered. The items that were claimed to be missing were then delivered the same day as a second delivery. Now in regards to the damages that were done on site, when we were notified the same day that items were claimed to be missing we went forth with the action of sending a claim form for lost/damaged goods which the customer did not proceed with.

      Adding to the 1 star reviews on here, we used Moishe's for a move & store and then move in at a later date. On the day of our move, we had to constantly explain to the movers to take care of items as they were packing them horribly with no care at all. When we moved in, it became clear how badly they were packed and handled. One of our sonos speakers was STOLEN by the crew. The marble top to our dining table was shattered (clearly) and never showed up for our move in. Glass for a table top was shattered. Our record player was broken beyond repair. All 8 of our dining chairs were damaged and one of the seat cushions didn't show up. A lounge chair had the cushion torn. Ceramic planters didn't show up - again assume they were shattered. A box of kitchen items didn't show up. Our mattress and box spring were filthy as they were not wrapped properly and shoved into storage. We had a lot of other breaks - all which were avoidable had the moving team actually shown any care or moved anything with any thought. The list goes on and on and on... And the customer service... TERRIBLE. Avoid Moishe's... At all costs...
