      On April 29th Circle One Moving Company, picked up my furniture, clothing, etc. from Atlanta, ** to be delivered to *******, **. At the time of my pickup, I was asked when I wanted my belongings delivered to my address in *******, I stated that May 11th would be good, that way it gives a little space in case something happened. On May 11th, I called and spoke with Wayne who stated that there were NO drivers to make the delivery. He then stated that once he had a driver, the driver would give me a call. I called that Monday or Tuesday and Wayne stated that, he now has drivers and that my belongings would be delivered on Friday May 18th and the driver would call. No calls, Saturday came I called Wayne stated that the truck broke down and they were waiting on another truck and my things would be delivered that Sunday and the driver would call when they got on the road. Sunday NO called I called back and was told that the drivers didn't finish loading the truck until 6am, and DOT regulation states that they have to wait at least 4hours until getting back on the road, Wayne stated that once the drivers was in a better area they would call. Again NO CALL!! I called back and was told the driver were stuck in OHIO and needed to wait on a part for the truck. Day or two went by, I was then told the part was not in stock and they needed to wait until it was in stock and that going forward Wayne would be calling me instead of me constantly calling trying to get updates. Well that didn't happen. On the 29th of May was the first day Wayne called and back he stated that my belongings would be delivered Friday, May 31st between 6p-8p only to call and now Wayne is having trouble with his service. So, I called another number, I get a text stating he was having trouble with his phone. I waited a few hours called back to verify my deliver, and to let him know I still have not heard from any driver. Wayne now stated that my belongings will be delivered Sunday or Monday June 2nd-3rd.

      Dear Ms. *******,

      When scheduling delivery, DOT guidelines allow up to 21 business days from the customers first available delivery date for said delivery to be completed. This does not guarantee that delivery will be completed on this date, however as a courtesy to our customers we do try to deliver on or as close to that date as possible. In the case of Ms. ******* her date was for May 11, 2024. Due to unforeseen mechanical issues, the delivery truck was required to be returned to the leasing office for assessment and repairs, which is causing a surprising delay. We are currently working with the leasing office to collect and deliver Ms. *******’s belongings as soon as possible. We have been, and will remain, in communication with Ms. ******* to allocate a proper refund as promptly as possible.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      On multiple occasions Wayne gave me arrival dates. On or around the 18th or 19th of May, Wayne  stated the truck broke down and the drivers were in Ohio. He stated that the drivers didn't finish loading my things on the other truck until early morning and that they were at a truck stop in Ohio, and because the they were so long loading the othere truck, that they had to wait 4hours before getting back on the road. It was only until Monday, June 3rd that Wayne actually told me the truth, and that was the truck is in Pennsylvania, and the truck was impounded, and they were trying to get the truck and my belongings and it will be another 22 days for me to get my things. I have attached text messages from the company who I contracted my move with, who out source the move. He stated he would refund me, unfortunately don't know when.
