Good afternoon *****:I hope this email finds you well and I will be brief.I asked that the two window A/C units I supplied for the unit be returned to me if the property had no interest and I'd retrieve them. ***** in maintenance said that they were "thrown out". This was also not mentioned with the disposition notification prior to the security deposit.Initial notice was expressed upon initial notice I was not going to renew back in January. In February/March I contacted ******* about access to the renewal online. I would like to Know when the balance will be remitted to me, please? This issue is the second major concern Harbor Terrace had failed to favorably attempt to resolve and I did enjoy my time despite the disturbance of my lower neighbor. Many thanks in advance to assisting in righting this matter.Respectfully,*************************** **********************************************************. *****

I lived at ******** ***** apartments for 11 months. My lease ended March 31st 2024 but I vacated February 29th 2024 with a termination fee of $1945 (same price as a months rent). This termination fee was the same thing as me paying for my lasts months rent but instead I moved out a month early which essentially benefited the landlord where they could have made double the rent with a new tenant. I was told this was the only fee but now an additional $1945 is being taken from my security deposit. This simply makes no sense, why would I move out a month early just to be charged an additional fee? I could have just moved out a month early and kept the apartment for an extra month. I am being robbed for absolutely no reason and now the landlord Margaret A.is ignoring my emails after asking for information of someone else who can help me with this matter. She clearly doesn't understand my complaint. See attached for receipt of my months rent for February and a second February payment for the "termination fee."

They are not putting on the heat in November. They sent someone come check it and turned on the heat at the minimum about an hour before they were scheduled to come and shut it off about 20 minutes before the appointment so the gun would show the vents being hotter than it was. The guy said my window was open when the blinds were down and a wardrobe blocking it so he couldn't see it. Then he pulled down the window to take a picture. This is the shadiest building i have ever lived in doing stuff like this to avoid turning on the heat. I have time stamped pictures of the apartment temperature all day that will show otherwise when there was no appointment. The temperature dropped all day in the apartment.

It's really too long a story to tell here, but there have been several issues that I am seeking to discuss/remedy with my landlord and they have ignored every single attempt of mine to have a meaningful discussion. They have arbitrarily decided to charge my account for fees that I have not agreed to pay. I pay my rent on time every month and yet they insist on sending me constant harassing communications threatening to evict me.

I made a complaint regarding noise that my neighbor was making outside of quiet hours in May (2022). When my neighbor was advised I made the complaint, she started harassing me soon after. I followed up with emails to the leasing office with times and dates as they requested. I was advised nothing could be done. My neighbor soon had her friends harassing me. One even threatened to kick my door. Because I felt threatened and the leasing office would only listen to my neighbor, I put a camera on my door. The harassment and threats continued and the leasing office refused to assist. Forest Hill forced me out. They refused to provide a safe environment and and did not provide the services stated in the lease. Quiet hours were not enforced, pest control was not received, and when I requested a new smoke detector (old one died in June) the smoke detector was left at my front door. It has never been installed. It's still sitting in my apartment in a box. That is a violation. I contacted the **************** and spoke to ***************************. He yelled at me and attempted to justify the harassment I was receiving. He was more concerned about me having a camera on my door than about my safety. I advised him I was moving. Because Forest Hill forced me out by not providing adequate services, I am not responsible for early termination fees. ****** stated, "If you want fees waived, you have to accommodate us." Forest Hill/JCMLiving is biased. Comments made by ****** contradicts what the leasing office stated. I cannot be held responsible for services Forest Hill refused to provide.
