I would not recommend purchasing from this company. We ordered an item from them about 6 months ago, we have not received consistent updates, we have been rescheduled for shipping twice. We have contacted them multiple times asking for an update, and weve been told we would get an email, which we havent received. So far were out half the money, no product, and no updates.

Hi ******,We are so sorry that you have not yet received your furniture! Unfortunately we are still experiencing supply chain issues and we try our best. Shipping was never "rescheduled". Rather, we sent revised estimated ship dates. Unfortunately, these are estimates based on what our suppliers are telling us.. We had to revise our estimates twice. Thankfully we are getting through these issues, things are settling down, lead times are almost back to normal, but there are still delays on some furniture.We do anticipate this shipping very soon, and when you receive the furniture, you will agree with the customers who have filled over 150 pages of our testimonials section of Cabinfield.com https://www.cabinfield.com/testimonials.html praising our customer service and the quality of our furniture.

I ordered a blanket chest (cedar chest) for my granddaughters college graduation. Before giving it to her, I put in heirloom keepsakes that I wanted to pass on to her. When she opened it a year later to add something to her treasure, the inside was all sticky as was the heirlooms in it as well. The lid braces were so sticky that when you touched them, your fingers stuck tight. I immediately notified this company and was told they would get back to me. The only response I received was when I would contact them AGAIN. Each time, I talked to a different office person and started from scratch. They said that they would notify the builder. I got a message back yesterday that told me to wrap everything, put everything in acid free boxes, line the inside with a bed sheet, or put everything in plastic totes. That kind of defeats the idea of a cedar chest! They also told me that they had never had a complaint before. They made no offer to refund my payment or to make things right. After going back through all correspondence (I made copies of everything), I thought that it was rather strange that their address appeared nowhere. Do not do business with this company!!! After looking up online what would make a cedar chest sticky, the most common answer was that the wood was not cured correctly before construction. If I could give less than one star, I would!

We are very sorry that you had this experience.We have been selling these chests since **** and have never had such a complaint. Aromatic cedar emits oils. If **********, or finish the interior, the aromatic cedar smell will not be there. Customers buy cedar chests because they want the aromatic cedar smell. Unfortunately, aromatic cedar leaks oils. It is for this reason that we send instructions with every aromatic red cedar chest that states that the items should be wrapped in plastic before being placed in the cedar chest. Based on a web search, I have also seen recommended to put a large plastic container inside the chest instead of having to wrap each piece.It is unfortunate that only the complaints end up on BBB.
