On Friday 4/15/2022 I brought my 2007 ****** Sentra to Meineke Car Care Center, Ledgewood **, for an oil change. When I arrived to pick up my vehicle I was told that I needed new rear brakes and I declined as I have someone that does my brakes for me. When the car was being pulled out of the shop the tires were making a very strange noise so I had asked the mechanic if everything was ok and he said yes that was normal after a tire rotation. I pulled out on Route 46 and began driving down the highway when after not even ********************************************************************************* to skid across the highway. I was able to get to the side of the road but my bumper was now unattached and my tire completely gone. I walked back to Meineke and the mechanic drove me back to the car and we collected the pieces of the car on the highway and he tightened the lug nuts (which were never tightened) The cops came and we filed a police report and the cop recommended not driving the car and bringing it directly back to get looked at. When I got back in the car to bring it back to Meineke the brakes were no longer working because the brake lines snapped when the tire flew off. I left the car at Meineke and they called me back with in an hour saying that they tightened everything and it should be good to go. I questioned if the brake line was fixed and then started a lot of rude and angry comments from the ******** ****** No apology for causing this damage or even offering to fix the issue. The car is undriveable and we had to pay to tow the car out of there and bring it to another mechanic who can actually get the job done. This is extremely unprofessional and for a $50 oil change (which I will be disputing) I am now paying over $800 to fix all the damage that was caused by your company. I have never seen a manager act so childish and not offer to help in anyway. I am requesting to get the money for the damages caused
