They were very transparent on their pricing and they explained their fees that pass on to me when they get charged by the manufacturer. I get it, manufacturers are charging these guys alot more for shipping these heavy pieces of metal. They were great to deal with and from the looks of it against the other dealers, these guys are way honest and still remain to have a A rating Im all in, and I was happy with my delivery and purchase at this store.

Wow very shocked by this dealer. Had a Seadoo RXTX in stock, **** from Seadoo is ****** plus a commodity charge of 615 which comes to a total of ****** for just the ski. Obviously as every dealer does they add freight and other fees which is acceptable as a dealer needs to make money as well. But this is another level of WOW. Adding ******** and calling it **** adjustment. Thats insane. The salesman **** was very nice so I cant knock him at all. VERY nice guy but the dealer itself is doing some bad business and shady practices with that. I have had 2 quotes already from other Seadoo dealers for models I could preorder given the times and not one had a **** adjustment. Very poor business practice there and just buyers beware of this and double check your numbers with this dealer. ** Update** Spoke with Manager named *** and he mentioned THEY add this fee given the times. I mentioned how I have not dealt with any other dealer in the Tri-State area that has done this and he said he simply doesnt understand and thats their **** up. Very poor practice to customers when not one dealer has done this and I have quotes that show no markup ** update to company response ** I simply had to respond to this dealers response as it is comical. Yes I provided 3 quotes of different jet skis but it was not to say I wanted to pay that price it was to compare the fact this dealer up charges above ****. See the attached photo the **** of the seadoo from the site is there. They are price gouging in **. I can call a good dealer and get a quote for the same model and it would not be that way. Seadoo did not raise their prices YOU are trying to pull a fast one on customers. Its plain as day in these photos. I had no problem with your fees even though you are higher at ******* for freight when other dealers charge 695. I am not being over charged by other dealers only attempted by you. The **** of a 2022 Sea-doo RXT-x is ****** with commodity charge. You tried to charge me **** of 23,

***** PLEASE NOTE****: This business has had absolutely no official business with this reviewer. We don't know him, and he's never been in our store. We thankfully have not sold him as much as a **** spark plug nor do we want to from the looks of it. We didn't sell him anything, and we were clear that we chose not to engage in business with him, yet we are subject to his harrassment due to the internet and his computer. Please inquire to customer and ask for a sales receipt with our name on it, a deposit, or any money exchange what so ever that he has done business with Ledgewood Powersports **** and if he has no receipts, has not placed any orders, has not spent any money with this business, then he is not a customer of this business. Please delete this harrassing persons review. Hes obviously angry about inflation and pricing and unfortunately has found our business to take it out on. BBB needs to do the right thing here with people that make it their business to bash a business that they've never even walked into or spent a dime in. We have been in business since ****, there's a reason for that kind of longevity vs someone who has a keyboard in front of him with the sole purpose of attempting to hurt business's in ** who employ the people who work for a living.

Regarding the cost of SeaDoo Product for all ** and international consumers, as with every item in the **, due to the 45% inflation everyone is struggling with: As Posted on the Manufacturers (SeaDoo) Consumer Page regarding Price increases:1) Is there a commodity Surcharge on BRP Product? YES. BRP's supply chain continues to be impacted by two factors during the pandemic: rising raw material costs and increased shipping costs. Because of rising costs, BRP has put in place a commodity surcharge for Sea-Doo, Ski-Doo, Lynx, Can-Am Off-Road and Can-Am On-Road vehicles. With this being said, BRP has also notified its dealers of additional unit reductions to dealer allocations which means dealers will receive even less 2022 SeaDoos than needed, ordered, and planned to retail. Despite this bad news, we will make every effort to assist our customers through these trying times. Be kind, we are all in this together and I assure you staff will work diligently to navigate these times.

I contacted the dealer about purchasing a 2022 Can-Am Defender H7 model side x side with some selected options. I spoke to a salesman and was quoted a price of ****** which included a $300 commodity surcharge. This was the exact same MSRP price as was quoted on the Can-Am website. After attempting to negotiate the price with no results I asked to speak to the sales manager. After discussion he said he could get me a 2022 Polaris Ranger **** with the same requested options for less money then the Can-Am Defender. I knew the Polaris was at least $2000 more but I said all right. He then had the original salesman that I spoke to send me out a new set of quotes for both the Can-Am Defender H7 and Polaris Ranger **** models. Only this time the Defender H7 quote was $1800 higher which now made it more expensive then the Polaris. When I questioned the price increase I was told by the salesman he had made a mistake and that the Polaris was a better buy since it was now cheaper then the Defender which was what the sales manager had said he could do. The only reason the Polaris was now a better buy was because they raised their original Defender offer by $1800. This is a classic example of a bait and switch scenario. I told the sales manager so and he then offered to honor their original lower price offer but said unfortunately could not because Can-Am won't let them order it. As I said - bait and switch. Anyone doing business with this dealer should be very careful before signing a contract. They will try and steer you to a more expensive model and play games with their pricing.

Rob, your obvious frustration on not being able to source the unit you want is understandable as are price changes, however that is the situation with every powersports dealer, auto dealer, grocer, convenience store, and small business in America today. You first asked us to price one unit, we gave you a quote, then you asked us to price another unit, we gave you a quote. You agreed to purchase neither unit. Then you changed your mind again on the first unit, we honored the old price for you, still you were unhappy. In the midst of this, Polaris informed its dealers they are moving to allocations and preorders only, and each manufacturer is cutting dealers ability to order certain units. Additionally, check the websites, every manufacturer has listed additional freight surcharges now under every unit, and our warehouse freight charges have also increased as have every dealers. Prices are changing daily and weekly on commodities, this is a nationwide issue, not a LPS, issue! Simply, just watch the news on ships sitting off every coast and every business struggling with the ability to get product into stores) As per your "bait and switch" allegation, that happens when a dealer changes a price on the "same unit with no intent to sell the unit", we are far too busy to play games making quotes on units that we don't intend to sell, or units that we can not get. Salesman get paid on sold units, not emails, but when we can't get the unit, we tell you, and we told you, we can not get the unit you originally inquired about any longer. Simply it was not on our allocation. We have been in business since ****, do you really think a business could stay in business in NJ if they were committing fraud on every email we get?? I see 2 quotes in our system for you, both not only for different models, and motor sizes, but also for different manufacturers all together. The salesman, who is new by the way, immediately informed you that he did make a mistake (as you admit), that he had given you a price HD5 (which is no longer made in 2022) instead of an HD7. Our mistake, we employ humans here who sometimes make mistakes. Surely not a reason to complain to the BBB and allege a bait and switch, however I have spoken to the employee regarding your complaint, and of course he was very upset that someone like yourself would go to such lengths and make such nasty allegations because of a mistake that he and the sales manager acknowledged, all knowing there was no deposit, no money transaction, and literally no business between us other than a quote that was corrected. It is our hope that you visit other dealers to TRY and find a Defender 7 or a Ranger ************************************************ not being able to source the units we quoted you, however that is the case for all dealers, some days we have the product and some days we don't. Inventory varies by dealer daily. When you do visit others dealers, you will see that Polaris and Can Am BOTH have instituted allocations only for dealers, or perhaps you will come across a dealer who will take your deposit and hold it for months while they lie and tell you "its coming" when in reality, it is not if its not on their allocation. You will find all manufacturers have severely limited dealers inventory and ability to order via ALLOCATION ONLY with the rest of inventory being Preorders only. This means dealers can ONLY ORDER what is on their ALLOCATION, we can not order a Defender as it is NOT allocated to us at this time. Additionally, we invite you to CALL CanAm or Polaris and ask them to verify that dealers CAN NOT even order a unit if its not either available to order or on their allocation. Currently, Polaris dealers can not order ANY units until after we receive our allocations on 11/1/2021. We suggest you could have done a little more research before writing a BBB complaint. Small businesses are struggling all over the country, and we surely don't need people complaining because they are unhappy that prices increased, or product becomes unavailable due to situations out of their control. We are not in charge of that. We will note your file here, and we wish you good luck in finding your new Polaris or Can Am, at the price you wanted to pay.

I stand by my comments. Let's just try to make this simple. I contacted a salesmen at Ledgwood Powersports to get a price on a 2022 Can-Am Defender R7 side by side with some specific options. The salesman gave me a detailed cost breakdown. The price he quoted for the basic vehicle was the manufacturer's ****. I tried to negotiate a lower price and was not successful. I then contacted the sales manager to see if I could get a better price. He said because of high demand and shipping delays he could not lower the price but said he could probably sell me a 2022 Polaris Ranger **** with the same options I requested for the Can-Am model for a lower price. I was doubtful about this knowing the Polaris **** model was several thousand dollars more when I viewed their website; however I agreed to see if the sales manager could better the Can-Am proposal. He then had the original salesman send be a cost breakdown of the Polaris **** Ranger model and another cost breakdown of the Cam-Am model. When I compared prices the Polaris **** Ranger model was indeed cheaper by approx $600 just as the sales manager had suggested. However a closer look at the cost breakdowns indicated that the only reason the Polaris model was now cheaper was because the Can-Am model's price had now been increased by $2050 over the original **** price quoted to me. When I asked the salesman about this he said the **** was the manufacturer's price not Ledgewood's. In other words if Ledgewood wanted to increase the price over their original proposal they could. To me this is a deceitful sales tactic. Imagine going car shopping, being quoted in writing a detailed sales price , and then one day later having the dealership raise the quoted vehicle price by over $2000 thousand dollars and then try to sell you a different vehicle. Bottom line here - I contacted a different dealer who basically sold me the same Can-Am model I wanted with the requested options for the same lower price I was originally quoted by Ledgewood Powersports. I should also mention the new dealer also gave me the manufacturer's **** price and did not try to later inflate it.
