On July 27, 2023 I bought a synthetic wig from ******* at Angelic Care Couture for $798. I have hair loss from chemotherapy so I have a prescription for the wig. I paid in full by check #***. The total of the check was $836 since it included $38 for wig care kit. *******, owner, told me to submit to my insurance. Instructions were to submit to ******** and then upon denial, submit to Horizon who is my 2nd insurer and would cover up to $500. Meanwhile, Angelic Care submitted the claim to Horizon and received a check for $372.96. I paid in full and then Angelic Care submitted a claim and received my benefit before I could submit claim with denial from first insurer. Also, I am charged $41.44 by Care Centrix for processing claim on behalf of Angelic Care. I have tried to settle this with ******* and have asked her to reimburse me for the money she received that is my benefit. I spoke to agent at Horizon and was instructed to file a claim which will be denied since Angelic Care aIready received my benefit and then file an appeal. I have received no contact from ******* at Angelic Care since Sept 7 when she emailed that she would call me. I have receipt and email documentation. Also have invoice from Care Centrix which indicates price of wig as $414.40 and date of service as July 1. Both are incorrect related to the transaction. Please let me know if you need further information or documentation. Since I have no point of reference, I am left to wonder if I was overcharged for the wig as well. Thank you
