My Mother bought my deceased sister's headstone from Payless Monuments in 2012 with 4 money orders she mailed to the company in the amount totalling $2,000. My family had not visited the cemetery until 2021. It was then that i discovered my sister had no headstone. The headstone was never produced. I contacted payless monuments and spoke with ******************* in July 2021. He explained to me that the headstone was not produced because a "document was not signed". He never returned any of the money orders to my mother and the money orders expired. He explained that he would send me the unsigned document and return the money orders. I signed the document for the headstone to be produced and emailed it back to him. After numerous phone calls, *** then changed his story and explained that it was only 1 money order that expired. *** suggested that i try to have a new money order issued. After a couple months and several phone calls, he finally sent me the money order. *** explained that payless monuments would issue a company check to the company that actually makes the headstone until my moneygram money order was reissued. It took me 2 months to have Moneygram issue me a new money order. I went to payless monuments in person. It was then that i found out that he did not issue a company check to cover the headstone. He then told me, again, i will look into what happened and "I will call you". As i sat in my car, *** came out to my car and showed me a picture of my sister's headstone and explained that he had the headstone and it was in their "stock room". Now his story was that he will look into having the headstone "installed" on my sister's grave and he would "call me". He did not call. I waited a couple weeks to give him more time. i called him on 03/27/22 to see if he had the headstone installed. He said "I will call you back". He did not call back and would not answer his office phone. Please help. I would just like to have my sister's headstone placed on her grave.Initial Complaint

On 3/8/2021, I purchased a monument for my brother in amount $2.200.00. I charged it on my credit card. I also had to give them a money order to give Rosehill Cemetery in amount $675.00. The Cemetery confirmed that foundation is in place, Payless Monuments has not contacted them to place stone. I tried to contact Payless and they won't return my numerous calls. My brother ***************************** is in Rosedale section 42, ******, ** Grave 492. I am his sister ***********************. Should I contact my credit card company? I don't want this to become a year old. I really want the stone.
