CATCH is an incredible resource for aspiring dog trainers like myself providing you with the blueprint of everything you would need to know to be a successful dog trainer! ****** was my program director and anytime I would reach out to her, I never had to wait more than ******************************************************************************* concerns I may have had. ****** would also send me frequent check in emails to make sure I was having a smooth experience throughout the course which I appreciated. The course itself was laid out exactly in the order to study, building off each previously learned skill making it easy to follow and gain confidence as you go. As a new graduate, I now feel confident and comfortable in my skills and knowledge gained through the CATCH curriculum to take the plunge and start my dog training career! I would 100% recommend CATCH for aspiring dog trainers or really anyone looking to expand their knowledge as I've learned so much invaluable information, thank you CATCH!-******Review from Emily M.

I am a recent graduate through CATCH and their masters class program and I am so thankful for this school! My mentor ****** was wonderful to work with throughout my course and CATCH provided a plethora of information, making me feel confident to start my dog training journey. I especially loved their mentorship assignment, working with and shadowing a local dog trainer. She has even became a great friend of mine now and I continue to work with her to further my experience. Tests were open book but still very challenging and truly tested my knowledge, and after every exam I was given great feedback from ******. I feel beyond ready for my next step in obtaining my CCPDT because of CATCH and highly suggest them to anyone who is looking to start their dog training journey.Review from Sp???d???a S

I worked with dogs for about 7 years now, wanting to advance in the dog world I took both grooming ********** am currently in training course. Grooming wasn't my niche, I mean I can do the process on 1 dog but grooming 10 dogs in 1 day isn't for me. However the training is more my speed. The catch curriculum is great even though I worked with dogs for 7 years I am still learning a lot. Excellent with student support. When I schedule a call *** is always punctual & she always takes the time to review my answers for study guide questions. Just a suggestion if it's possible to have a few dogs picked out for the students who have trouble finding a student dog to work on, for those students who's apartments doesn't allow dogs. And for the students who don't have a car. Maybe it can be included in the workshop instead of a week, 2 weeks. 1 week with student dog, and the other with shelter dogs.Review from Laura W

I started the Master Class with a Mentor working toward my CCDT (Catch Certified Dog Trainer). The experience so far has far exceeded my expectations. My CATCH Program Manager, ******, has been very supportive, knowledgeable, professional and encouraging throughout the process. The coursework is a variety of books, videos, articles and a CATCH study guide so I never get bored with the variety of learning material. My mentor, ****, is wicked smart and watching her teach class and work with the people and dogs is invaluable. I'm excited to be on this journey and am grateful that I chose CATCH Canine Trainers Academy!Review from Chrissy C

I am a proud recent graduate of Catch Canine Master Trainer course. This program is extremely organized and easy to follow which made working remotely and at your own pace very easy. From moment you opened up the study guide you start learning and building your knowledge of fear free, positive re-enforcement techniques. Catch provides a lot of additional books, videos and website to keep in your toolbox. Catch not only teaches techniques but they will explain the reason. The staff is the best and truly want their students to be successful. My mentor ***** was amazing, such a kind compassionate person. She definitely has a passion to teach and for animals. I am a recent graduate of CATCH Canine Trainers Academy Master Class Program. CATCH is an excellent accredited institution which offers a comprehensive and well organized curriculum. The library of reading materials written by leading experts in the field which CATCH includes are very helpful. I chose to study with CATCH Canine Trainers Academy because they utilize positive reinforcement training methods while avoiding harmful aversive training methods. CATCH training philosophy aligns with my values of animal welfare by using only positive training methods. CATCH has very knowledgeable, expert instructors who are always willing to help and to answer questions. I would highly recommend CATCH Canine Trainers Academy to anyone who is interested in becoming a professional dog trainer.Review from Kristina S

I cant speak highly enough of this school, the staff and the curriculum. I needed a career change during ***** and had been contemplating dog training for a while. The staff got back to me quickly and explained all the options I had. ***** and ******* are amazing program directors; always responding to emails and concerns I had on the material. The curriculum covers everything from the science behind training to how to lead classes. Friendly and unformative staff. They even offer pet CPR certification. The program is force free, which is amazing for those of us that can't imagine hurting dogs to get them to behave. The school also offers practical knowledge on how to get a job and accommodates you if you have a busy schedule or are going through financial strain. Highly recommend.Review from Jen H

I recently graduated from CATCH's Master Program. It was very thorough and I learned a lot. I appreciated that it was "work at your own pace" and I sure did that! My Program Director, **** was a great support and a cheerleader when I needed it! Even when she wasn't available, there was always someone there to answer questions. I was also assigned a local mentor who was fantastic! She was so encouraging and knowledgeable and gave me great feedback on my training and how I present.Review from Jessica Z

Catch is an amazing school with the most understanding and compassionate program directors. I had the best experience! Even though I struggled through going to school while working a full time job and taking care of my 3 year old, ****** always encouraged me to keep going!!! I aboslutely LOVED my experience with CATCH. I recently graduated from their Master Course with a Mentor and feel like it gave me a great foundation of knowledge to continue my work in supporting dogs and their humans. My program director, *****, was truly amazing and helped with any questions I had. ***** and the other program directors always responded promptly to any questions or concerns throughout the program. I did have some difficulty scheudling my skills evaluations due to some technical issues, but ***** was positive and quick to help sort them out! My local mentor was wonderful! I observed her Basic Obedience class and was able to ask questions after each class. She also allowed me to observe one of her puppy kindergarten classes, which was an amazing (and adorable) experience where I was able to learn first hand how to handle a class like that!Overall, I feel like the program prepared me to continue on in my career and continue to work towards new and more advanced certifications. I will alwasy have a solid foundation of knowledge thanks to CATCH!
