I bought a truck at a different dealership I paid $77,000 for a sierra ****** 1500 diesel. I got a check engine light notification. I took it to MCGUIRE BUICK in ************. They told me I needed to replace my DEF tank I replaced the tank Later my check engine light went on again not allowing me to go over 35 miles an hour. They told me to come and get the car was fixed but if the check engine light comes on again, theyre gonna have to check the transmission a day later, the check engine light went on again , this was in February 19 today is March 20. My truck is still there and theyre waiting for parts. I have no loaner car from the dealership and I need my truck for my business. I want the problem fixed they clean the *** theyre waiting for a part for them.Business response

I understand that your work truck was tied up for several weeks as we waited on the valve body part. Unfortunately when parts are on national back order there is absolutely nothing we can do to expedite shipment. We are at the mercy of the parts distributor and *************** We, unfortunately have several vehicles that have been sitting for numerous months as we wait on parts. This is what has caused our loaner cars to be backed up and not available for more recent repairs. I apologize and am very sorry for the inconvenience.

We put a deposit down on a car and the car was sold to another person. This dealership sold the same car to two different buyers. They have our deposit and lied to us about many things with regards to the sale.Business response

Please note this is in response to complaint id ******** from ***********************************. I apologize but the link that was in the letter is not allowing me to respond.There are two things that must be corrected...FIRST, the Christodoulou's left a refundable $20.00 SECOND deposit for a pre- owned Dodge Ram. This was most definitely told to them and was written on order form.The $20.00 was refunded to them as soon as the FIRST buyer agreed to take delivery. The Christoulou's were made aware there had been a Gentleman in earlier in the day who left a deposit on the truck but was making sure he could lock in a manageable payment with the bank. Once the first buyer confirmed he was prepared to take delivery the Christoulou's were notified and we said we would refund them their $20.00 deposit...which we did.This is an unfortunate situation that we do NOT like being a part of. However, given todays economic climate it is imperative that we consider all offers.If you have any questions, please contact me.Sincerely,***** McGuire
