I had Cambridge Pavers put in my backyard patio in March. I have trees in the backyard which have leaves that fell off on to the patio that stained the brand new patio. I had to have the contractor come back and power wash the patio which is not good for a patio (especially a new patio). I had used Cambridge Pavers with Armor Tec because the owner goes on television that his company "knows something about protection." I contacted *********************************** and *************************** regarding this issue, and sent them pictures of the patio. They told me too use a special soap and scrub the patio. The patio is quite large and is not what I signed up for. When I continued to contact ***********************************, all I received was an email accidently sent to me instead of a coworker (which I have enclosed) stating there was something wrong with me. I spent north of $40,000 and didn't expect to have an issue or be ignored like this.Business response

We had email exchanges on May 29, June 1, June 29, July 28, and August 9th and August 26th with ******************. In addition numerous phone calls with Cambridge team members and I can report ****************** was not courteous. What I am going to write now is exactly what we wrote and verbalized to ******************. Leaf stains are addressed in our brochure on page 119 and 120. In addition on our website. Leaf stains will dissipate without the need for any cleaning over a period of time. Leaves will stain any paving surface including asphalt, concrete, brick, natural stone, Cambridge Pavingstones, etc. If one wants to remove the stain sooner than letting it dissipate by itself there are specific instructions on page 119. The stains do not hurt the integrity of the paving surface.

I am rejecting this response because: I was never rude to Cambridge. I used Cambridge Pavers because of the commercial stating "they know protection." When I asked for help regarding stains, I didn't expect a response stating I basically had to get on my hands and knees with a scrub brush and scrub a very large patio. I never asked for a financial settlement, all I wanted (and still want) is a representative to come to my house and give me some direction. A large company like Cambridge must have sales people in Long Island. I don't think I am asking for a lot?

We stand by our response dated 9/14/21. Our Territory Manager spoke with ****************** 9/30/21 at 9:41 am.****************** was most appreciative that he got a call. He asked our Territory Manager to stop by on Saturday morning 10/2 whereby he is looking for advice about cutting down trees which are causing the stains. ***************** was pleasant and thanked our Territory Manager for his assistance.
Our Territory Manager will meet with ***************** on 10/2 and will repeat everything we have already written to you and show him how leaf stains can be removed and make it clear to him that the stains will go away on their own.
