Won't refund security deposit of $651 from July 2022 when moved out this year in April 2024. This was Centennial village senior apartments in ******, **. Have contacted many many times for refund. Security deposit was with *************** and then michaels bought them out but didn't refund anyone's money. There is no traction. There are multiple people I am told.Initial Complaint

I have lived at this property for over 2 years and the Michaels organization is now the property management as of April of last year. I've been having an issue with the neighbors adult son harassing me and people on this over 62 community property and nothing has been done. I'm having problems getting any response from my manager or her boss. I've sent several emails and wanted to set up an in-person appointment and I get no response. Something needs to be done with the situation and the fact I'm getting no responses from any of these people! We have a right to live in a peaceful environment and nothing's being done about this situation. I would specifically like contact from the higher authority at headquarters and not my property manager ....as she obviously has chosen to not respond.Initial Complaint

I am 16 weeks pregnant I was called to the office for an appointment where they buzzed another resident into the building who did not have a scheduled appointment and allowed her attack me. I did not feel safe at all as a resident I should not have been attacked at my leasing office. The manager has been so rude to me she won't accept any of my phone calls or emails from my attorney. I am now facing wrongful lease termination and my pregnancy is becoming coming severe. I am devastated I can't believe I am being treated this wayInitial Complaint

To whom this may concern:On Friday, May 5, the central air in my apartment building malfunctioned and stopped working properly. I immediately called the emergency number on Saturday. At around 8:30, maintenance had shown up, and put some freon in the conditioning unit, though this had not solved my issue. The following Monday, May 8, I made another call to the main office, and was told that they would contact a repair technician. On Wednesday, May 10, I made a call to the corporate office and was transferred to their ***** office to leave a message for the regional manager, and was never contacted back. The following day on May 11, the repair technician arrived to take a look at the conditioning unit and assess the issue, to which I was told the unit was irreparable and both the indoor and outdoor units would need to be replaced. He proceeded to tell me that it would take a week for the replacements to arrive. On Friday, May 19, I called the corporate office once more to verify that the replacements were approved. I was transferred once again to the ***** office to speak to ********* a supposed regional manager, and left another message. Once again I called the corporate office and requested to speak to a live person rather than leave a message. I spoke with a *********************, who rudely told me she knew nothing of the situation. As such I explained to her what the issue was. She told me that she would call the main office in order to find out more information and would reach back to me with what she had found, and unfortunately never called back. On Friday, May 19, ************** main office called me to inform me that the replacement units would be arriving on Monday, May 22, to which it never arrived. I am writing this complaint because I feel as though I have exhausted all other options available to me. I feel that as a tenant I have no rights, and I feel as though that The Michaels Organization does not care that this is an emergency. To live in constant 80+ degree temperature inside my own household is not feasible and I would appreciate assistance with this matter.Thank you.Initial Complaint

This company bought out a property that I've lived at for 4 years without issues ... they acquired someone with a Domestic Battery case and likes to party afterhours on our property. Which is totally unethical and unprofessional. Didn't have an issue with her until November 7, 2022 after ************************* left which was her boss. I reported the unethical behavior to him and he was dealing with it but once he left she decided to give me a 30 day notice when I only had 18 days to sign my new lease. As a disabled veteran this treatment is deplorable when I've never had an issue with her until ******* and everyone else went around after we all saw her behavior. She almost hit me when she was leaving the property that night as did she on ******* Street a few days later and was clearly intoxicated. ** when I told her I saw her she got angry and said no I didn't but my dash camera don't lie.
