My doctor, *********************************, MD has disappeared without warning. He was practicing at **************************, which I was a patient at ***** years. Before Covid he moved to Riverside Medical Group at **************************************************, which was part of Optum Health. I had appointments at this location 2 times(yearly). Two months ago when I needed a new prescription I found his office number disconnected. I called Optum and they told me they decided to close the office and no idea of where that doctor is. My doctor has gone missing with my records. I called ********** and Optum records office and they told me those patient records stay with ******************** and they have nothing to do with that doctor. I have googled, called, searched and nothing. I have no doctor, no care, no medicine and no records. With out medication I can not drive or take care of my family. I found a new doctor that has requested patient records. I have none. I want my medical records for the last 20 years. How does a doctor get to disappear, abandon his patience and then the company he partnered with...tell me they cant help. Legally, someone has to hold my records for 7 years.
