On October 17, 2022 I contracted Casper roofing to fix a leaky roof in my front living room and dining room area. Their representative came out showed me where the leak was coming from and what needed to be done. A few months had gone by before I could give them the go ahead because I had some health issues that needed to be addressed immediately and then my brother passed away. When all of the commotion settle down, I want to get in contacted the company sent them a new down payment and the job began. However, a few days after completion of the job we have had and continue to have heavy rains at which time the rain still came in in the same area which leads me to believe that the leak was not coming from the specific location that was quoted to me. I contacted their office and their staff indicated that someone will come out and rectify the problem. The same current occurred on a few occasions however, as of this date, no one has come. I am unable to hire and pay for expenses that are a guessing game.Business response

Hello,
***** signed the contract in October of 2022 and did not pay the deposit until April 5th 2023 her job was done shortly after the deposit was received. ***** reached out to us after her job was done stating that it was still leaking we scheduled someone to take a look at it. He determined the leak wasn't coming from the area that it was fixed. We than tried to go back again to see where the leak was and she wouldn't call us back we reached out to her multiple times. We have finally been able to get in contact with her and have been communicating with her. We tried sealing a different area. As you may know fixing a leak is a guessing game as water travels. We are trying to schedule again with her to see what else can be done. We have not charged for any additional visits or repairs that have been done. ***** usually takes a couple of days to respond to us she has some medical issues. We are working with her schedule to take care of this issue.

I am rejecting this response because:owner makes periodic visits and statements but leak still exists in same exact place. The last correspondence from him was an email stating that they would come on August 31 to address this problem again. Between now and August 31 we could have numerous rainstorms would you would more than likely make the last fall out from all the dampness and water it has absorbed.

We told her August 31st than quickly realized that we had made a mistake and emailed her right back saying we made a mistake and that we meant July 31st. That day we were not able to make it and we are now going August 8th to remove all of the siding install a moisture barrier and re-install siding we have been in communication with her via email.
