Customers beware! In the beginning of the pool buying experience, my wife and I were excited as the prospect of getting a pool. We interviewed different pool companies and landed on Add On Pools because they are a family business and have been around a while. I have to say that during the whole pool installation, my wife and I were kept in the dark about the whole process. Communication is a foreign concept to this family owned business. The people answering the phone do not convey messages. And they seem to be allowed to do so without repercussions. And who cares, right? The family will watch out for themselves. Come time to close the pool, the communication was so poor that, one day, after a month of trying to get scheduled (no call backs) they show up. When pressed about the lack of communication, my wife and I are yelled at, in our own yard. Do not bother complaining because it falls on deaf ears. Why??? Because the family does not care about the customer!!! I cannot stress that enough. I cannot recommend them and will not use them again.

Lately, I have been very disappointed with Add-on Pools. I know with COVID there have been delays with getting things (which I understand) but to be honest with a customer would be better than lying and frustrating them. Poor customer service - Ordered a liner in April and were told it would be in before Memorial Day. Long story short, after several calls promising it's in and it will get done in a couple weeks (basically giving us the runaround all summer) they just show up at our door at the end of August without setting up an appointment. Finally, we get the liner in and they leave the pool not running (it was running before they started the job). They told us it was our problem and basically accused my husband of wanting them to buy us a new pump! We just wanted it running again. We didn't know if it was a pump that was needed. So we had to get our own electrician - bless his soul - it was an inexpensive fix (way less than the "starting at $225 just to come out" that Add-on gave us) and started us on our way to clearing the horribly green pool Add-on left us with. We originally went with Add-on Pools instead of shopping around for a better price (which I'm sure could have saved us about $1500) because they had put in our pool and there wouldn't be any problems (they also said it would be done by May knowing full well they had a backup on the liners due to supply issues). Boy was I wrong! So after using them for over 14 years they lost our business completely for poor customer service, a $20 part and about ***** minutes of labor it would have cost them to make it right. If they just would have been honest in any of the situations we ran int, we would have worked it out.
