Hello, My name is *****. I hired this company to install 10 interior doors. 7 were supposed to be 5 panel primed doors with this certain detail on it. Another was solid wood, another frosted solid wood and another was primed with half glass (this one was the only one that was correct). There were some changes to the job but WK didn't provide me with another proposal. WK had ******************** order some trim pieces to fix the problem (********* absorbed the cost) and WK contracting was going to do the install for free. Additionally there were 2 doorways trims (double sided openings) swapped for 3 single sided window openings. Obviously there was a sill so this was considered an even swap by Both of us. We had a price of $6000 for labor but it was so much work I wanted to give him extra. He wasn't going to ask under all these circumstances but I brought it up and he quickly said he wanted $7200 for the job. and I would hold $200 because the job wasn't finished because in the interim of them putting in the trim pieces on my one glass panes in the door cracked and WK had it removed and said he ordered another one from ********************. I contacted WK because I felt taken $$ and called him out on his pricing. He's not very good with math and spoke in circles trying to explain but he didn't make any sense. I asked for an invoice multiple times but i never got one.We started doing business in Sept.'21. He had covid beginning of Jan. and was hospitalized for 2 days but avoided my calls, txts and emails for 3 weeks. WK has not finished my door and they are not taking my calls or returning my txt messages. WK finished on Feb. 13 ($7000) and my glass is still missing. I can not stain the door because it's not finished and I am thoroughly disgusted with his company and the wood mill he recommended. I have now ordered from another company and I am seeking $1300 be returned to me for the discrepancy in the work ($1000) and for my **** and to replace five frosted glass panes ($300)
