Approximately 5/18/22 the owner, ************************* had his crew install 2 rooms of matching Carpeting.The men, 5-6, worked rather well and spent approximately 5 hours completing the installation.Later when I called the office, complaining about the room separators, in BLACK, i was told that's all there was. They reused 2 of the 4 separators that existed, (carpeting to tile), and they look all different and sloppy.When I called again to complain, it wet nowhere.Later I forwarded pictures of the 4 room dividers that had come undone: the carpeting was OUT from under the separators, and could cause tripping.The full amount was about $9,000.00!!Business response

The customer complained about the reducer strips between the carpet and the floor. we sent an installer twice to take care of her complaint but we found that she wanted a gold metal reducer. She was told we couldnt nail into her floor, not because we wouldnt but it wouldnt work. She immediately said Im calling the Better Business Bureau. So much for cooperation.
We have good relations with the Bureau but pleasing a customer like this is most distasteful.

I am rejecting this response because:I had asked for *****, got black, 2 of4 were left as my old spacers. If the worker came once- did nothing!

Just received your letter concerning the complaint. We would take care this problem if this customer spoke to me specifically and not demand a gold metal which cannot be drilled into the floor.
