I found this company on instgram and he was running a special at the time I reached out for a free estimate. While going through his instgram profile and assessing his work I noticed his prices were fair. He had prices ranging from $6500-$20k for total renovations. I met with him at my new home and upon entering we discussed a price for him to install my newly purchased iron spindles for $400. I asked him to quote me for a master bathroom ****, kitchen update, basement and a small princess ********* I waited a week for the quote and he came back with an estimate of $18,970 for ONLY the princess ********* This was basically for labor because I had to provide 90% of the material (vanity, tile, mirrors, etc). The bathroom is a 10x15 and the same size as one, probably smaller, he has on his page for $6500. He had a 30x30 complete kitchen renovation with new plumbing he did for $19,900 on his online profile. I felt he tried to take advantage because I am a woman and my fianc wasnt involved in the matter. I declined the full proposal and we agreed on just the $400 spindle install. 2 hours later he texted and said he refused to do the spindle install because I was too wrapped up on the value of the bathroom renovation. Please note that I canceled another contractor who agreed to install the spindles a week before and agreed to wait for Sammys schedule to open on 11/18/22. This was a MAJOR inconvenience because I cannot move into my home without this install because of the safety of my children, Im back to the drawing board to find someone else and I have to pay to stay at my current place an extra week due to this inconvenience and unprofessionalism. Also, he changed the quote to reflect his usual prices after I made it clear he quoted me unfairly. He took it from $18,970 to $14,970 but comparing to the bathroom that was larger on his profile he charged $6500 for I still consider this UNFAIR! I wouldnt recommended him.

Hello! I appreciate your response and review! I did not want to take your job because I mentioned to you I had another job another customer agreed to go ahead with us :). For my buisness, I work with one customer at a time to keep everyone happy. I cant do two jobs at once. Thats why I denied your job.As I mentioned to you on the phone, for labor, your bathroom remodel was for ******.. but with materials it was closer to ******. Which is an average cost for a bathroom including materials. Im sorry for the misunderstanding. Good luck with your project!
