      I utilized Meadowbrook legal group to assist with debt relief and have not received any updates and recently received a letter from the company that they are in litigation for their process of retracting funds for payment. I am getting letters from my creditors and have not been able to get in contact with the law group. .

      I signed up for debt relief with Meadowbrook in June 2023. At that time, I had a good credit standing. They advised me to stop making payments and let the attorney (*********************) handle it. After signing a contract and drafting ****** out monthly I thought I was in good hands and that this agency would be completely transparent with me. After I tried several attempts to reach them without word, I started to really worry. They never returned any of my calls and when I finally got through, they brushed me off and gave me another number for 'my' attorney (also no answer). I thought this was all my fault, I felt trapped and I'm out thousands not to mention the creditors attached late fees and interest charges further increasing my debt. This is horrible to do to people, I paid them $656.68 monthly to **************** only to find 542.00/month went to the group first and only $114.00 went to my resolution account. The one time I get through waited almost 2 hours, I asked to speak to a supervisor (on hold for another 45min). ***** from the escalations department didn't know exactly why the company wasn't answering and said I can opt out without penalties and I can ask for an additional amount refund- that I still haven't received. I reached out to another resolution center; I didn't want to wait any longer and with the ******* I started this process all over again. This company (A+ rating) has been great to deal with and contact me almost weekly, I feel like I was fooled but got out just in time. I still call Meadowbrook and wait on hold; I want my $4360.00, that's a lot of money I could give to the new balance, especially considering the interest and late payments. I can only hope to receive the money Meadowbrook owes me for not doing the job they were hired for!

      I was contacted by Meadowbrook to help settle some debts. Seemed like a pretty good deal and a decent company to work with. I was informed that it would take a few months to get things rolling, but that everything would play out in the end.Started drafting fees from me in October of 2023. Received a phone call from an attorney in early November explaining he would be my direct contact for all legal matters. Fast forward to last week when I received an email stating that Meadowbrook was being sued by the ****************** Protection Bureau.Ive been emailing and calling them nonstop to try to cancel my agreement with them (as their third party company *************** is still drafting my bank account) and have received zero communication back. Even the attorneys direct number has been disconnected!This is atrocious. This company preyed on people in need of relief and now the government is suing them, meanwhile their customers are left hanging and paying more and more to a company that barely even exists!

      This company promised to settle all of my credit card debt in February of 2023. They told me the first settlement would be reached in 8 months. Zero settlements have been reached, and they have taken fees out of the money I am paying them. I was promised if I received a summons, I would be represented in court by a lawyer. My court date is now in two days and I was not given a lawyer. When I call, I am on hold for over an hour, and they do not have answers for me besides that the system has been down and we have backlog. All of my accounts are now in collections, and I am in a worse spot than where I initially was. They are no longer helping me, just taking my money. Now upon reading others reviews, I believe it is all a scam. There has been no resolve.

      In July I joined Meadowbrook legal group to consolidate my bills and as of March 20th I have not heard from them. They were taken 410 out of my account every month.I've called ************** can't get through to any of the numbers that they give me. One number does have recordings, but doesn't tell you much. A lot of people have commented on that website that it's a scam edit. They have taken their money. I have not heard from them. And what are refund of my money? Did they took out which is $3800? They don't respond to emails or phone calls. Most of the numbers that you call have been disconnected.

      Spoke with a representative at the beginning of June and had a wonderful experience and great communication before pulling the trigger and signing up for their service.Once I signed up, communication became non existent and if there is any communication it's from my end initiating it and waiting 2+ hours on hold just to be told something different each time.They never opened the account for my funds to go into for the debt relief service, 3 months later is when I found out after calling each month since opening the account. They told me to stop paying the bills because of the service but they literally haven't done anything but have me kill my credit score.I don't even want the service but I can't even get in touch with anyone to try and fix the situation or to find out if they are going to hit me with penalties for THEIR mistake.

      I entered into an agreement with debt consolidation firm Nov 22, 2023. they asked me to ignore calls from creditors which I have done and my understanding is they would reach our to the creditors. They advised to even set up a google voice to avoid creditors which sounds sneaky to me. That they did not say is that they will take this long to reach out to my creditors is beyond reason and all the creditors say they do not have a power of attorney paperwork. It has come to a point where my creditors are calling non-stop to even my family next of in on the bank inform, and sounds threatening. I have emailed the legal group and I have made calls but they don.t answer even wait times up to 2 hours. reading form other reviewed, this is their habit of not answering calls. I need to know what to do ASAP as it is driving me crazy.

      Company said it was going to consolidate my debt. They started taking payments from me. My credit tanked and now I looked online and saw that myself and a few others were scammed by that same company.

      I called them to resolve debts that were getting out of control. I gave them all of my debt information and they gave me an amount to pay to the monthly to resolve the debt. $1000 debited from my bank account for the past two years nothing has been resolved. I have no idea where my money went and they wont answer the phone.

      I enrolled with this group for a debt reduction program. They promise in all signed documents to provide responsive customer ****************************** representation. I have been trying to reach ANYONE at this group for the last 3 weeks and the phone system says they are closed! They however deducted money from my bank account. I also authorized a settlement with them in December and just received further legal action taken against me due to a lack of their responsiveness and yet they deducted more funds this month! *** sent notice through their contact us page, emailed the attorney I was in contact with & called repeatedly with no response!
