My experience with PHH Mortgage has been consistently terrible since they took over my mortgage in April 2022. When I changed my homeowners insurance provider, PHH sent the payment to the old insurer, causing my new policy to default and cancel, while the old one sent me an overage check. Their automatic payments consistently made me a nearly a month late (without fees, thankfully), despite having sufficient funds in a suspense account. They would call me to inform me I was late, then see I had the money in the suspense account. I spoke with a supervisor who couldn't resolve the autopay issue, so he told me he would stop the collection calls, but the calls continued unabated. When I finally canceled autopay, I had to make multiple payments to catch up. Their customer ********************** agents all are empathetic and kind, but then just simple don't do what they say. I no longer trust PHH Mortgage. I plan to report my experiences widely and, as soon as interest rates drop, I intend to refinance elsewhere to escape their service. If I encounter further issues, paying a higher interest rate will be worth it to sever ties with them.PHH Mortgage Corporation Response

These guys refuse to redo our escrow analysis it clearly shows a double anticipated adjustment with our homeowners insurance because we switched companies as the price was way too high now we have a shortage of over $2000 and $186 is added to our monthly payment because of this discrepancy. Ive called several times and they tell me its correct, its simple accounting they just want the frickin money and wont listen to me. Since I had my mortgage moved to PHH, not by my choice, apparently my loan was purchased by PHH, my life has sucked. I have been charged 3x for my July 1 payment!! My actual bank has charged me for overdrafting. Super sweet! I was charged 2x for my original 1x payment on June 29. Then again July 2nd. So I don't get paid again until the 5th. My overdraft charges are going to be a super headache since PHH phone reps are terrible. Good luck everyone stuck with PHH. And 1 question: how cone phh can take my mortgage and not pay current rates but, if I choose to move my mortgage I have to change MY rate. Total bull&%*tPHH Mortgage Corporation Response

Well the first agent two ago taken down my Payment Information incorrectly. This cause me to make continual Calls to PHH TO FINE OUT WHY THE PAYMENT HAVE NOT BEEN OUT OF MY ACCOUNT AS SCHEDULED!! AND IT CAUSED ME UNDO STRESS. NOT HAPPY!!!PHH Mortgage Corporation Response
