My mother ***************************** is a former tenant of ************************** in ***************, **, she passed away in December, 2023. I was advised by the building manager that if the apartment was vacant before January 3, we would receive my mothers deposit. I was told a check would be received within a few weeks, however I still have not received the money or any explanation as to why. I did speak with the office manager from ************************** again in ********************** and she said she did not send in the proper paperwork and she would do so immediately. This was in April. I have reached out to there corporate office on numerous occasions via email including ******** manager but did not receive any response. I have also spoke with a receptionist **** who was trying to assist me as well.Initial Complaint

Hi I renting from this property. I moved in 2015 . They have yet to fix anything .all they do is go up on the rent nothing else . Nothing , the building need painting cleaning . Things need to be fix . The dont answer the office lock always cant pay the rent but they will charge a late fee .. every tenant have an issue with them .. they have done the bare . They only go up . Nobody have a problem paying but they dont do anything . There were out of a manger for 2-3 months .the Maintenance man is lazy . Very very lazy . . He does nothing all day . He only keep the office clean .. the company is a rip offInitial Complaint

This business is overcharging tenants, refusing to maintain serious problems, has multiple safety hazards (including the lack of a locked maintenance closet), experiences multiple utility outages, and is impeding on the rights of tenants by threatening tenants with eviction if they don't sign addendums or if the tenant threatens to speak up. I'm also not convinced that there are not worse issues in terms of documentation as they have tried to backdate multiple documents to match when they were supposed to be done legally when in reality they were delayed for months.I'm tired of my family's and others' rights being ignored and our address doesn't register on state applications to report any of it, leaving the tenants in our complex helpless.Business response

First and foremost, I would like to thank you for taking the time to reach out to us at Conifer Reality in regards to your concerns. I have tried to contact the tenant, ******** who has filed the complaint and we are unable to reach her. I will continue to try and contact ******* so we can discuss her complaint and concerns. I have also reached out to the property manager on site as well to discuss feedback on the complaint filed.
