I am not liable for this debt with Baltimore Gas and Electric. I do not have a contract with Rickart Collection Systems, Inc. they did not provide me with the original contract as i requested.Business response

Account was referred to collection 6/4/24 by Baltimore Gas & Electric. This is the first communication we received from the consumer. We requested and received a copy of the bill. According to Baltimore Gas & Electric they have identified the account as the correct consumer and the balance due. Additionally, the account was deleted from the credit bureau, Experian. We will be providing the consumer with copy of the bill validating the debt.
We look forward to helping the consumer resolve the account.

Rickart Collection Systems has placed a collection on my credit reports. I do not have a contract with Rickart. Rickart did NOT provide me proper debt validation as I requested and is my legal right under Title 15 USC 1692 (e) & 15 USC 1692 (f) the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA)Business response

Account was referred to collection 3/22/24. The 1692G compliant validation notice was sent to the consumer 3/25/24. On 6/12/224 we were contacted by the consumer indicating that this was on her credit report and was a fraud. We contacted Pepco and their response is as follows. They have identified the account as the correct consumer and the balance due. Additionally, the account has been deleted from the credit bureau, Experian. We will be providing consumer with copies of the bills validating the debt.
We look forward to helping the consumer resolve this account.

Account was referred to ********** on 9/5/23 with a service date of 7/24/23. Our records show consumer has been sent 3 previous notifications without a response to **********. This is the first time we have been aware of the consumer's dispute. We are submitting this dispute to our client ********************** for their review, response and validation of debt. In the meantime, we have noted the account as disputed. Additionally, the credit bureau Experian, has been notified to update their records accordingly as disputed. We look forward to resolving this matter with the consumer.
