I had an appointment scheduled for a routine mammogram scheduled for 9AM at University Radiology **** ******* Avenue, Neptune NJ. During intake I was asked for script. I advised that I was advised one was not required for a routine mammogram. The older woman insisted that it was and that I provided one last year. That maybe, but I self-referred this year for my annual mammogram. I was refused to be seen and scheduled my mammogram on the same day at The ********** . ******* ****** ****** in **** ****** on the same day without a script.Initial Complaint

I made an online appointment with the Forked River,** facility. I uploaded my ID and insurance information and received my confirmation. A arrived to have my scheduled chest x-ray performed and was advised that my insurance wasn't accepted *********** Ok, this is understandable. I asked how much the charge would be if I were to pay out of pocket. Upon checking, the receptionist told me $60. I figured as long as I was there, I would just pay.I paid, had my x-ray, and all was well. Today, I received an email telling me that I owe an additional $30, and that the price I was given was an "estimate". I did not ask for an estimate, I asked for and paid the price I was told.I must stress that all of the staff at the location were extremely friendly and helpful.Business response

I just received a copy of the complaint from **************. I apologize for the confusion.
Had ************** reached out directly we could have quickly and easily cleared up this matter.
I have left him a message asking for a call back. We will be waiving the ***** fee.
