      Me, my wife and two sons aged 8 and 1 were booked on the flight from JFK Terminal (New York, USA) to New Delhi with ** 102 for 23rd Dec, 2023. The ticket numbers are *** **********, *** **********, *** ********** and *** ********** respectively. On Dec 22nd morning the flight was notified as cancelled. We rebooked to the only other flight av**lable on Dec 23rd to Delhi through San Francisco **rport. The **r India call service booked us the connecting flight through ****** ******** from Newark flying on the morning of Dec 23, 2023. The ****** ******** ****** subsequently got delayed and resulted in my family of four missing the flight ** *** from San Francisco. The multiple attempts to **r India call center f**led to get an alternate booking. On arrival to San Francisco **rport, we were rebooked on flight ** *** which was 10 hours later. During checkin for flight ** *** we were informed that the ticket for my 1 year old son has not been issued. Despite arriving four hours earlier for the checkin, we were forced to spend the majority of our time haggling for the ticket and the seat for our son on the flight. The flight ** *** arrived in New Delhi on Dec 25th morning (more than 18 hours later than the original ticketed booking).  On arrival at the Delhi **rport, the 6 pieces of the luggage was found missing. We immediately filed the missing baggage report with **r India. The luggage items were found by **r India on December 27th. On the return flight on Jan 9th, once ag**n the **r India flight ** *** got canceled less than 24 hours before the departure without any notification. We contacted multiple **r India call agents to get an alternate booking. **r India call agent rebooked to ****** ******** flight arriving more than 12 hours later than the original booking. We suffered physical, mental, emotional and financial stress. **r India has denied request for refund of full ticketed price of $8,615.

      1. I would like to describe my experience with Air India flight taken this time. My PNR is ******. In bound flight in Dec 2023, from EWR to BOM, where screen was not working in 14 hours of journey. I requested staff to provide either wifi so i can work on my laptop or provide suitable seat. if not available then provide upgrade seat. No any options were given and finally i received only apologize statement for 14 hour flight. when i reached my final destination, I approached Air India team about this issue and received INR 4000 compensation to use in return flight. In Jan 2024, during return flight from AMD to BOM, at airport, my voucher was not allowed to use due to different reasons of denial- such as server is not working, not able to see flight seats etc. My voucher is unused and expired in one year where i have no plan to travel within timeframe. 2. Next, from BOM to EWR flight, the flight is delayed one hour with no reason and at ewr airport, i waited almost long enough for baggage then team informed us that our baggage are missing. My both 23kg baggage have not received. Due to delay i missed my meetings. I have filled PIR form (attached herewith) and after 5 days my bags were delivered to my address. One baggage was completely broken and inside some clothes got coloration due to spilling of broken snacks bags. 3. There is misguided by air india airline for baggage. I received email that my baggages were checked in for BOM to EWR but those were loaded to delhi. So, those are misleading information by airline. I am attaching all details for proof. Since 30 days, regularly connect with airline team and no reasonable compensation has offered, instead they closed all cases. This is unacceptable and frustrating for spending 30 days time and yet no resolution. I requested 250 USD compensation with details (few compensation as per airline policy). requesting to support to resolve at the earliest.

      On July 2nd, AI 191 flight from *** to *** was delayed by 4 1/2 hrs with no information provided on the reasons. My connecting flight from *** was missed as a result. Air India informed me that an agent was there to assist me at ***. However, they left the airport without giving me hotel voucher or a connecting flight as promised. I was stranded at the airport with no information and United refused to help me. As a result I suffered severe exhaustion and had to seek help from relatives to book an expensive flight to head back home. I seek monetary compensation for hotel, food, mental trauma and harassment by Air India.

      My husband and I paid nearly **** dollars for airline tickets from ******* to *** and return. During our flight, I called numerous times and explained numerous times regarding my physical disability and having a prosthesis leg and requiring a window seat so that I am able to slightly hold my leg due to inability to fully bend the knee. I even offered a letter from physician to explain the disability yet was always told on the phone, you must pay for a window seat. The biggest concern I had however, is the rude and untrustworthy staff on the plane return from ***** to *******. I ordered a coffee and had hot water in my hand, and suddenly a jerk from the attendant and the passenger behind me hit the seat causing all the scorching hot water to spill on ************ arm (with evidence of ***** and scars present). I asked for ice, and the attendant said we don't have ice. They were not helpful at all, I asked for cream or soothing cream and the attendant said I will bring it but never did. She never did anything to help my situation as I was yelping in discomfort and pain. She was very dismissive and very rude to the care of the passengers. The next thing we know, I knew she is lying because 5 minutes later, she was handing out ice in cups for beverages - which she could have given to me for the pain. Overall, very dissapointed with the quality of service and customer service with the airline - they are not responsive to passenger needs and quite frankly, rude in some cases.

      My husband and I were traveling on AI126 on 07 April 2022 when we left a fire tablet (in a black and blue case). We reported this to the service counter for air India in the ***************** before 5pm on Tuesday 12 April 2022. Approximately an hour later they told us they found our tablet and it was in their possession there at the *****************. However, they refused to give it to us as it was no longer between the hours of 9 to 5. I explained to the woman that we were flying out that evening and couldn't return in the morning as we arrived back in the states Wednesday 13 April 2022 at 7 in the morning. I even asked if I could pay to have it shipped to me in the states. She said she couldn't help us and then grabbed her purse and left without telling us what to do next or how to proceed. Then once I returned to the states there was no one working the Air India counter at the Airport and a woman gave me a phone number to call. I called the air India number and the customer service agent said he cant help me and that I had to call the ***** Service desk (the same one that wouldnt help me when I was standing there, and this same desk that had my computer and refused to hand it to me). I told him I couldnt afford to call ***** India and that I needed his help and he kept saying no, call the airport and then he hung up on me. Since then I have called Air India here in the states and also abroad, I have contacted that airport and that airline numerous times by email as well. No one has helped yet even though I saw my tablet and know they have it in their possession. At this point I dont know who else to call or how to get answers and I wanted to tell BBB so others don't make the same mistake. It can be difficult knowing what international airlines to trust and considering the airline was terrible, the flight was terrible, the staff was terrible, and the experience was awful, I want to protect other Americans.

      I canceled my flight with Air India ticket number ************* on 3rd December 2021. I am awaiting for a refund ever since. I have called Air India more than ******************************************************************* on hold for 1 hour and say it will be resolved in 7 to 10 days. Every time same answer but NO REFUND. I am frustrated with such terrible service. The call centers are terrible they don't even know how to help. I am not flying with these airlines ever again and would recommend everyone the same. I just want my $2200 refund back.

      Air India is charging over $300.00 penalty if one chooses to cancel a ticket to India because of the extremely high COVID surge over there. I feel it's unfair and wrong when the situation is a health one and not controllable

      I booked a ticket ( ticket # *************) for myself and 2 kids with AirIndia for travel on 05/22/2021 from *** to HYD. Due to COVID 19 pandemic situation in India in May , I cancelled the tickets on 5/18/2021. Ticket cancellation confirmation number is 09646419.I was told that I will get refund of Rs.254556 in **** weeks . It has been more than 16 weeks and have not received any refund. I have tried to reach customer care by email and phone multiple times. I am always told that my refund is in process. Please help to get my refund as soon as possible.
