The most horrible experience ever. I brought a Portuguese gold chain to get fixed and bought another one. When I went to pick up both items, the chain that I needed to get fixed looked like it was soldered stiff where the links were cut with something other than gold as it had a white line through it. The other chain that I bought was too big for my daughter so it needed to get some links removed. I left both of them there again so that the owner can take a second look at the chain that needed to get fixed to ensure it wasn't going to break again. When I inquired about the chain today and asked if it had been soldered with gold, the owner proceeded to yell at me, telling me that I was being disrespectful by asking that simple question, told me to pick *********** and that he was going to "cut that sh%$ again" (in Portuguese). Sure enough when it was picked up it was cut out of spite. The other chain that needed links removed was given to me with a little bag full of gold fragments instead of whole links removed. I've used this jewelry store for years and have never been so offended. If you need a jeweler do not go here. They are butchers not jewelers and the girl that works the counter as well as the owner are disrespectful to their customers and obnoxious.
