There is only one way to contact them. And that is by phone. The phone system is very broken - it asks for your ssn and then doesnt give any time to enter it. It repeats back your ssn in letters and asks you to verify. The system is so bad that if you manage to get past the Ssn part it doesnt recognize any input and keep looping asking you to make a selection. I managed to short circuit the San part by pushing a lot of pound signs and skippilred the option selection part. This is the number you need to call to handle claims. They have no email, text or website to access.

They will use every tactic NOT to pay you. My sister is dying of cancer and if you miss one box they deny your claim - AND you cannot do it online, it is all paper, can't email only fax. REALLY are we in the 60's?? So I mailed the forms - guess what, they never got them. Right. I personally took them to post office to insure that they had the correct postage and were mailed.Shame on you Prudential - I know you sold the company but your name is still on there, you are preying on sick, dying people.

Avoid this company, no matter what other options might exist. A common tactic is for Prudential to wait until LTC policy holders have reached the age when getting a replacement policy is simply out of the question; then increasing premium rates by an extreme amount - in our case, by nearly 75%. Apparently they have regulatory approval to engage in such a practice, presumably by claiming that their projections were so poor that they will take a loss on existing policies (projections made by their own employees). Then, cynics that they are, Prudential leaders will offer to agree to smaller increase in return for a major reduction in potential benefits - so, saving a few hundreds in exchange for many thousands in benefits (assuming Prudential will ever pay). This all appears contrived and consistent with their longstanding business plan which seemingly includes the goal of getting seniors to drop their policies and decades of paying premiums. A company without shame.

My parents purchased Prudential Long-term Care Insurance in **** and have been paying premiums since then, including most recently, $3000 in January 2022. The time came when they needed to collect on the insurance that they have been paying for for over 30 years. It has been an absolute nightmare with one run-around after another. We have submitted licenses and insurance for our caregiver five separate time to both Prudential and Assuricare, their on-line portal. Its been two months and my parents have not received one dime in re-imbursement. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!! Instead of paying Prudential exorbitant premiums that you are likely NEVER going to receive the benefit from, invest your $$ in a savings account or CD for 30 years and use the proceeds from that investment to manage long-term care as is right for your family! DO NOT fall for Prudential's scam! They make it impossible to recover any benefits/ SCAM!!!!!!

Prudential long term Care lied to my mother who has Alzheimers and I ,that her home care would be covered but in the end paid zero dollars. I called them several times to confirm documents sent I. Were the correct documentation to have claims paid. My mother had visiting angels as her home care for 11 hours a day 7 days a week for help with activities of daily living. Her claim was approved on 4/28/22 but now its 6/27/22 and have never received a payment for any care! This company is criminal and has told me that the license wasnt a valid license that visiting angels had. Interesting considering that I was told at least 7 times all documents were correct and what they needed to process claim, My mother is out 30k and we were under impression based on the million of calls made it was only a matter of time before she would be reimbursed. I am completely lost on what to do about this situation as her long term care was for close to700k and cover 365 bucks a day for home health care. The eleven hours a day would have been just under the 365 a day which is why we did *************************** if you have any suggestions to help us with this complete travesty.

Prudential sold LT ******** that were a rip off. They sold them with attractive benefits and then if you paid them for an extended number of years they pushed thru significant premium increases or let you cut back on the benefits, if you wanted to keep paying the same premium. They are required to get *********** approval for the increases, usually they request 40%, and the State gives them 25%, with no required notifications to policyholders in advance. They should be required by the State to offer a return of the premiums that were paid by the suckers that bought the ********.I should have bought the stock rather then the LT care policy since the Company knows how successfully rip off they customers.
