On 10/4/2021, based on a flyer I found on my car's windshield, in which they had advertised they tow away cars in any condition and pay cas. I called them @ ************ and after I gave them my car's specifications, they said they'll tow it away and they 'll give me $650 cash. To which I agreed. After a few hours, the tow truck driver called me from his cell *************) arrived wearing a police T-Shirt and agreed to pay me the $650. He then gave me a form to sign in order for me to release the car to him and asked for my title as well. Which I agreed. After he put the car on his tow truck, then he changed the amount to $400. At that point, I asked him to simply put the car back on the ground since I was promised $650. He then told me if so, I owed him $200 cash on spot for his towing fee or he would call the police! When I went inside to get some more information, he took off with my car. I called him on his cell phone and asked for a receipt and the balance of my money ($250). He said he'll bring it over, which never did! I tried to call the company several times and asked them for their address so I can direct my concern to them in writing as well as reiterated my request for a receipt! They gave me a bogus address of " ************* in **********************". I latter learned on their real location which is ********************************. Other customer reviews and complaints on the INTERNET reveal the similar fraudulent scenarios. At this point, I need your assistance hoping to receive the balance of $250 as well as a receipt of the transaction.
