              I brought my 2018 ***** Equinox to McGuire ***** in *************** on January 4th, 2024. The problem is the when the car goes off on auto stop, it does not restart, causing car to roll down inclines trying to start, I have to put car back on park and restart car. As of today May 8th they have not fixed the problem. They have changed multiple parts to no avail. I contacted Detroit to no avail. I have a loaner that was given on Feb. 1st. I received a call 2 days ago, which said my car was ready. I went there today to find that they got an aftermarket wiring harness and bypassed the ** system God knows what can happen because of that. Now the auto stop no longer works. Is this anyway for an American car dealer to solve problems. While I was there **** McGuire told me they cannot fix my car and they want the loaner back.

              Formerly a technician at this horrid establishment for a couple years. Nepotism runs rampant in the service department with the managers hiring their children to work. In the time I was working here as a technician I earned my associates degree in automotive service. Talked to the service manager *** to talk about becoming "flat rate". He in turn proposed me this completely illegal pay scheme that would be my "terms". After that weird interaction I decided to leave the dealership. I told management this and started to look for other jobs in the mean time. After telling them about my future plans to leave they retaliate against me and give me oil change jobs for MONTHS straight. One oil change takes a solid 45 mins with the multipoint inspection, but pays .5 hours (30 mins). They set me up to loose money just because I decided to be cordial and tell them my plans. After leaving they put up a "now hiring technicians ask for ***" sign. Legend says it will stay there for all eternity. If you're a tech, don't even think about applying here.
