    On August 23, 2021 we entered into a contract with ******* Care of Care Custom Cabinetry which at the time was using the address **********************************************. The contract was for the construction and installation of a wall shelf for our home in ********** which was to be completed on or before October 18, 2021. A deposit check for $3,450 was required and sent several days after and was received and deposited by Care Custom Cabinet. We spoke to ******* Care on October 11th to see how the project was coming along and he said he hadn't started as yet and that he would need another week beyond the contract completion date putting the promised completion at October 28th. We spoke to ******* again on October 24th in the AM at which time he hadn't yet started it and that he would need till November 8th. At that point we suggested canceling the contract and he agreed to refund our deposit. On evening of October 25th we spoke to ******* again. At that point he told us that the project was to go to the painter on friday when the day before he said he hadn't started it. He said he would get us the money but needed some time. He was vague but agreed to $500 payments every other week. Not having received any payment, we put the payment arrangement in an email to him dated November 23rd asking him to acknowledge his receipt and agreement to the arrangement by signing it and sending it back. We called and spoke to him the next day to assure he received the email. He said he did and that he would send the first payment by the due date of November 26th. We asked that he send the payment by VEMO which he agreed. It is now December 5th and no payment has been received.
