      Cobra Van Lines LLC does not move freight. They create contracts to move freight. At no point in your move will you interact with a Cobra Van Lines employee. Instead, you will engage with contractors who, frankly, don't give a hoot about your belongs. For example: the people who picked up my goods arrived hours late, forcing me to sit at a storage unit until almost midnight. It took dozens of calls to try to arrange delivery day and time. You'd think they had computers? Apparently not. They broke or lost almost $1000 worth of property on a small move and offered $39 in compensation. You're better off just hiring your brother-in-law.

      This company is truly horrible. I had a small load that they delivered six weeks after they told it would arrive. But that wasn't the worst of it, there were four pieces of furniture I cared about. One was a couch arrived with two legs broken off and one a chair arrived with a huge rip in the upholstery. But that wasn't the worst of it, I paid extra for special wrapping of a beautiful oil painting my hung in my parents entry way and they never delivered it. I now realize the special packing was a clear signal that it was valuable and someone stole it. The problem began when I signed a contract with ************************ The people I dealt with at National seemed great and thorough, advising me to specifically wrap an antique desk and the painting. But obviously they sold my contract to Cobra without advising me. If I had known they were going to pass me off to Cobra, I never would have signed because I would have checked with BBB and seen all these reviews. And the final insult was that Cobra's insurance company (CSI) offered me $96 settlement based on fine print in the contract. Literally no one showed an ounce of empathy for my situation. Do not use this company. They should be shut down.

      DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY. My belongings were anticipated and agreed to be picked up on 9/23 with a delivery date of 9/25 for a move totaling 500 miles. ************ on 9/25 I receive a text message from the driver stating he had a family emergency and could not deliver my belongings and that an office member would be contacting me. I received no followup from the office and after several of my own attempts for contact finally was able to speak with a representative. The representative replied only with we have no update on your delivery there has been zero regard for customer service or empathy, no urgency, a basic explanation for why they have been unable to provide an update or any type of offer for compensation to offset the additional expenses Ive incurred for basic living essentials as they held my entire lifes belongings ******. On 10/5 I was finally notified to expect delivery by 10/11 (19 days later). In addition they charged me for a shuttle following the semi truck as the driver felt uncomfortable with the area of delivery. Theyve had my new address on file FOR WEEKS with no mention of additional cost for another truck following a delivery they were unable to meet based on their own employees family emergency Ive requested to speak with management with no call back. It is evident that this company has held my belongings as ****** just to continue up charging me for a move that is now within an expense double what was originally agreed to. In addition, I have three diamond rings now missing, one being a family heirloom and irreplaceable. After doing research online it appears this company does this regularly as a scam and there are thousands of reviews posted to different review websites with an identical story to my own. This entire process has been mentally taxing, frustrating and by far the most horrific experience Ive encountered with any company. I will be pursuing this incident further with my insurance, and my credit card company.

      Cobra Van Lines sucks!!!!!! My furniture was picked up on July 27. I was told that my furniture would arrive by August 5. My furniture was finally delivered on September 5. Once my furniture did not arrive by August 5, I called the office and was told that they didn't have a truck coming my way and they would let me know once they did. On Monday, August 7 I was told your furniture is on the way and would arrive in 3 - 5 days from the 7th. I was also told that the driver would call me the day before he was to arrive to tell me the time he would arrive. On Friday, August 11 I called Cobra because I hadn't heard from anyone. I was told "Oh we thought your furniture was already delivered." I said no ma'am. She put me on hold for 30 minutes only to tell me that they didn't know why my furniture wasn't delivered. I asked her if somebody would be calling me back with answers and she told me NO. I called back on Monday, August 14 to be told that the warehouse manager didn't put my furniture on the truck and I needed to call back later to find out when it will be shipped. I said ma'am I need my furniture. It had been three weeks and no progress. She told me according to the ********** of ************** they had 30 business days to deliver my furniture.On Monday, August 28 I called back again. I was told once again that my furniture was being put on the truck as we spoke and to call back the next day to get al of the pertinent information for delivery. I called back the next day only to be told that my furniture did not make it on the truck because the truck was full. I was told that my furniture was NOW considered to be a priority and they would contact me once a delivery date had been set. Imagine my surprise on Tuesday, September 5 when I get a call while I'm at work from the driver saying hey I'll be to your home at 1 pm. WE had to find someone to cover my classes for the rest of the day so I could make it home in time.Completely UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!

      I feel bad for anyone that uses this company. I used Amerisafe which contracted Cobra. The estimate wasnt even close to what I actually paid. Was a small move from ** to ** and was given an estimate of ****. All said and done it was close to ****. Was told originally was going to take 4-5 days for the truck to get to my hime. It took over 3 weeks for me to get my stuff. Just horrible!!!

      I am currently working with COBRA through AmeriSafe and the bill of lading is over double what Ameri Safe quoted. We went from under $10,500 to over $24,000. Not only that, but they showed up over 48 hours after when they were supposed to be done with the move. They have us between a rock and a hard place, because we have to be out of the house! We have no retribution or ability to change providers. If we had gotten the actual amount there is no way we would have gone with this company. NEVER WORK THROUGH AMERISAFE OR COBRAVAN LINES!

      I usually write good reviews most of the time, unfortunately this time is just a mess and crooked shipment I got when I moved my furnitures from one state to another Couple of things to note down for next movers/customers 1. The amount/price that the company will quote you much different than what you expected When I initially got the quote from the *********************** my price was around $2450 and some change, but the day the driver came to pick up my furnitures from my ******** place the price hiked up to $3600 dollars out of the blue moon. I was very unhappy and very disappointed. I asked them to give me another truck in day or two but they lied and mentioned they next truck will be going next month which makes no sense, I know for a fact that truck drives moves delivery from coast to coast everyday with different truckers.2. Second of the the delivery was way too late 10 days later I received my furnitures when my original delivery date was 8.19.2023, I received my furnitures on the 8.27.2023. Whatever they say please do not believe they are full of uncommitted people that you going to deal with .3. Thirdly, my air-fryer was missing which was brand new I did not even open the box, and my 10 pair of shoes were missing. 4. Fourthly, half of the furnitures I received were either broken or scratch what a disappointment.Unfortunately I had no other option besides writing bad comments, I wish I can get my money back or at least get my missing furnitures back. This is ridiculously insane.I have learned my ****** and I will tell you this is my first and my last time getting Cobra or any other movers what an unprofessional service I have received.Thanks *************************

      Absolutely NEVER HIRE THIS COMPANY! They are so unprofessional, they upcharge you, they try to hold you and your belongings hostage, unless you pay a inflation fee in cash. They lie to customers and should not be in business at all. Please avoid this company at all cost, and don't be fooled by the "so called great reviews" on *******

      Worst move I ever experienced! They were consistently late without contacting us. They were supposed to start the job on a Saturday morning, but about noon called to say they couldn't come until Monday morning. My husband could not be there on Monday because he was starting a new job in ****. On Monday, they called around noon saying they were on the way. Showed up hours later, after five.The truck they arrived with was way too small for the job. It only held a 10 X 10 storage unit and part of the first floor furniture of our house. Yes, they were aware of the storage unit. They said they would be back to finish on Tuesday. Late in the day I called them to ask where they were. On the way, I was told. Then about 11 pm called to say not coming until Wednesday morning. Showed up after 10:30 on Wednesday to finish. The manager was very rude. Demanded different methods of payment every time they came. He threatened to stop the move and put my furniture out on the street at one point. They did not cover any of the flooring and scratched some of the wood floors. I asked them politely, to please be careful and try not to scratch them any further. They broke a wood flooring threshold - when I sighed and took a picture (for insurance purposes) he got mad and said I was so rude! He was also rude and short with two men friends we had called to be with me since my husband could not be there. We were charged overall $8,000 more than the job estimate. My husband had told the person making the quote exactly what size home and storage unit we had. We are not hoarders! Normal amount of furniture for the size home. When furniture finally arrived in ****, we had to pay the balance due in CASH! We had already paid by credit card, cashier check, and now cash. Don't use Cobra Van Lines - rude, not on time, not at all considerate. The manager treated me like "some dramatic, stupid woman".

      Horrible horrible horrible. They are a fraudulent company. I moved fro never to *******, got a quote from Nationwide ( who apparently contract out to Cobra ). When they arrived to pick up my furniture, my estimate rose considerably, hmmmmm. That was only the start of my fun.When the furniture was to be delivered to ******* the driver called the day before, and without having even seen where the furniture was to go starting quoting "long haul carry" and starts. Well I live in a ranch so no stairs there at all. The driver was so so rude My son waited ALL day for the furniture to be delivered, WITHOUT any communication from the driver or the company. I made numerous calls to the company. Communication for Cobra van lines doest exist When the van eventually appeared the driver started demanding "long haul carry" of $300. That would have meant they would be carrying the furniture 375 foot. My son measured across the grass at 62 foot. But the driver DEMANDED the "long haul carry " fee. Heck you are hostage. So we had to pay. Then they did walk a whole 62 foot across the grass. And we have the video to prove it. When this evidence of this fraud was submitted to Cobra they suddenly agree to refund the $300 "long haul carry". Well it took multiple call sand emails and 4 weeks to get this refund.Do NOT use this company you will be scammed by them.If I could rate them a 0 I would
