      I closed an account with ****************** before I left the ** for work in ***********. I pulled money from my ** investment account to close this account before i left. An autopayment re opened this account without my knowledge or permission. I don't know how an auto payment can re-open a closed account and now my credit has tanked almost 5 years after the fact. I tried talking to them multiple times and in person and they told me to just pay off the overdraft account which is now in excess of 5k. I was willing to pay the money that I wrongfully received. I was out of the country for covid and could not come back to rectify this issue. It's February 2024 and it has now gone to collections. This is not my fault, I am most likely be returning back to the US at some point and now my credit is shot due to something that was not my fault. This bank treatment me with disrespect after my family banking with them for almost 30 years.

      Unable to gain access to online bank statements for a business acocunt held with Lakeland bank. Background: lakeland bank makes you create a seperate login within the bank portal to access your bank statements. They then have you choose to get it mailed or to get online statements. I have had 4 instances in the last 6 months where I was denied access to the online option because the system without my authorization switched them to statements. The remedy of restoring the statements is a broken process. It simply does not work when the proper data is inputted. It requires you to put the last transaction in along with your bank account. The system NEVER recognizes valid and prior deposits so you are essentially locked out. I had to push for an extension for my taxes because it took them 4 months to resolve it this year. Last year it occurred two times. and now I have become aware of it again today (04.22.23). I even went into a bank branch but the rep nor the online help could help me. She had the same problems as well. Last time, adfter 15 hours of back and forth with no nothings, a knowledgable person said it was a systemic issue and that they were going to have to put it back themselves. they also claimed they were doing a overhaul of the entire system and it should be completed by April. Well, nothing of the sort actually occurred. The Do- matters!!!Restore the account, and allow accessibility to customer accounts. Don't lie about fixing something that isn't fixed yet.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      There is an inherent problem in the system. They said they would fix and change things over to a new service.

      It has not helped me in any way when I needed these statements during tax season. As a result I ahd to file an extension and am struggling to get this information.

      I called Lakeland Bank 2/16 and asked them to please NOT let **************** withdraw any money from the account, I am closing this account out. I changed the financial institution that I wish the funds to be withdrawn from. I received a letter in the mail on 3/9 from Lakeland Bank saying that I now owe them $573.86, 2 months. I already went to a lawyer to sort this misunderstanding. But I would like for you to know that their customer service is horrible and they DO NOT help you when they say they are going to.

      The bank made a mistake and put money in my account Oh I thought it was my money I withdrew the money Saturday night mistake they made this was October 2nd as of October 4th I had a overdraft they made a mistake and they charged me for it a $250 overdraft and I should not have to pay that they taking money out my account every week in which the employee made the mistake she should be paying it please help me I cannot afford I need my money back in my account and where they shows on my history that portion is deleted off the page how dirty is that
