      I'm currently leasing a 2021 Acura ILX from Acura of Ocean. One year into the lease - the battery needed to be replaced. They replaced the battery for me free of charge - since it was under a 4-year warranty. Today, 6-17-24 - the battery died. I called the Acura of Ocean ****************** and was told that since they already changed the battery 2 years ago - they will not be able to offer us another replacement battery. This seemed very unfair - especially since their website clearly states that their replacement batteries have a ******* mile / 8 year 4 month warranty. I spoke to a mechanic who said that it is very unusual to have to replace two batteries for a new car within a 3-year period (the car only has around ****** miles on it over 3 years). So, I had to take the car to a local mechanic and pay $190 for a new battery. I'm requesting a refund of the monies paid - as Acura of Ocean should be responsible to replace the battery - free of charge since it was still under warranty.

      The customer was given incorrect information by the technician. It was an error on behalf of the dealership. We have mailed a check to **************** in the amount of $190.46 and mailed it to his home address on 06/25/2024.
