Open claim regarding a dealership vehicle that totaled my vehicle in a wheel runoff incident. (DOI March 20th) The claim has been open for 75 days as of writing this.I have constantly been ignored with weeks of no updates since the start of the claim.I missed several weeks of University due to their delays.I've been ignored for countless weeks at a time, with the highest amount of weeks ignored being 3 and their current amount of weeks with no updates being 2 weeks.I've been left with no vehicle for the duration of the claim nor am I able to afford one on my own.Their first and only offer letter they have sent me did not include the coverage of a rental vehicle for several days, the towing compensation for my vehicle (~$280), or compensation for the education I lost due to the accident. Their unwillingness to cooperate has caused me to go into debt as I've been forced to ride around the city bus for both school and for daily task and I was forced to rent a vehicle. I've had to resort to selling my personal belongings to cover additional fees.I've tried to get in contact with both the claim adjuster and her supervisor but both are always busy during their office hours and they tend to ignore my emails. I've tried getting in contact with the owner of the dealership but they refused to call back.I've left countless voicemails and emails asking questions about both the claim and status but to no avail.I'm sure they are trying to delay the settlement either in an effort to reduce the amount I receive or in an effort to force me to accept their first offer. At this rate it appears I'm going to have to hire an attorney to get answers out of them. Currently I want answers to my current questions and a response to my counteroffer as it has been 3 weeks since I sent the counteroffer and 2 weeks since I last had a call with their supervisor. I refuse to sign their form of release without them answering my questions.

On 9/1/2023 a contractor hired to do work at our home caused a significant amount of water damage. He did nothing to fix or mitigate the extensive amount of water damage. After over 2 months he contacted his insurance company to take over which took another month or so. we received an email for a settlement amount but due to the damage happening months before i wanted to make sure there was no mold and what the extent of the damage was and what it would cast to fix it. So i contacted a restoration company and contractor to give us an estimate on how much it would cost to fix. once we sent over the bit they (the insurance company) has stopped responding to both my emails and our contractors text and emails. ******** months into this and i have escalated the situation with the insurance company by contacting a manager who has not responded to my emails. We just want our house fixed and in the condition it was in before the damage. I have filed a complaint with the ******* department of Insurance and Financial Institutions. I want some way to motivate this insurance company to pay for the damage that they accepted liability for. I want others to know that they should check out their contractor's insurance provider and make sure they don't have to go through the same thing we did. I will be filing a complaint on the contractor as well due to his negligance in causing the damage and creating more damage due to not mitigating the situation in a timely manner which resulted in more damage occurring.
