      AHS was called 9-15 paid $132 for service of dryer and stove top. I was told contractor would call in 2 days. No calls received. I called AHS 17th,18,19 I asked to be transferred to a supervisor. The person i was given was very nasty and hung up on me. All I want is my service i paid for. I did not ask for refund just give me a new vendor because the original one lied about calling. I called again again today and they are still insisting that the vendor has called us and would not transferred to a new contractor. Now I have no dryer or stove top for 7 days!

      I created 2 service orders with american home shield on July 13, 2024. They took 200.00 out of my bank account for the 2 services. They then cancelled the 2 services on July 15th or 16th but did not tell me or will return my money. I have been calling and calling asking for my money that they took. They took the 200 for the 2 services to fix the gas furnace and clean the vents but they said they cancelled them because they could not find someone to do the job. But, now wont return my money. They keep saying, wait 3 days. wait 3 days. They are all Indian speaking people and we asked to speak to an english speaking person that is a manager and they told us no.

      I called American home shield on 5/26/24. Today is 7/9/24 and my HVAC is still not working. I was told a tool had to be ordered. I asked if I can have a new technician come to help because it's going on 3 Months, and I've paid $125 to have this fixed and nothing has been done. I am sitting in a hot house and I keep being told "we have to wait for the technician to call back". This is unprofessional. American home shield has the authorization to send a new contractor, but they are not.

      We have a contract with company and we pay a monthly service fee of $66.99 for service on appliances. We have attempting to get service for a heater pump for three months we have paid the $100.00 service fee and not received service. We have made several calls but received no service.

      I paid for a home warranty policy for a full year. I requested my policy be cancelled 3 months into the service contract due to being charged for a hvac yearly service under the warranty. The representative informed me they would waive the fee and schedule the service. The service was never scheduled and the plan was not cancelled. I unknowingly went on paying the full year for the service and was sent a notice of automatic renewal for service. When I called again to cancel the service the customer service agent informed me that I had to pay the over due balance for the automatic renewal before I could cancel the warranty. The agent stated they would not cancel the policy and would continue charging me until my amount due exceeds the amount required to send me to a collection agency. The customer service agent tried multiple times to sell me on continuing the service and waiving the fees. When I kept saying no, they eventually hung up on me and I continued calling multiple times until I reached an agent that would send a request to cancel the account and reverse all charges towards the automatic renewal. I did not ask to have a refund for the entire year already paid, even though I did not want the service. I never received a cancelation email and again called 4 days after to ensure the cancelation went through and was told the policy was still active. I just want the policy cancelled and the charges removed.

      I have been paying for a home warranty service for the last eight years and in May of this year I my air conditioner stopped working. I opened a claim they couldnt find a contractor so told me to hire one. AHS was not happy with the price the contractor quoted and they will not respond to me if they are going to cover it. They still cant find a contractor in my area for a second opinion and I have to call every week. They tell me the same thing every week that it is pending. They wont transfer me to a manager and will not help me. Every time I call they tell me that I will hear back from them and dont.

      AC unit went out mid April 1 contractor AC plus said evaporator coil was leaking and need to be replaced thats all. ive asked for second opinion and the second company TC homes LLC came out in addition to the evaporator coil needing to be replaced the condenser coil also needs to be replaced its in bad shape.       American home shield has been delaying replacing or cashing out a stove covered under my plan since February. Despite a literal fire, the appliance breaking more when attempting to be repaired, and a gas leak causing the contractor to not be able to turn the stove on due to safety issues, American home shield will not agree to replace or cash out the item despite numerous pleas of safety issues for our 3 month old baby. We have now been without a working stove to sterilize her bottles and warm bottles for her for a month, and have had to throw away hundreds of dollars worth of meat and produce that we cannot **** because we do not have a safe, working oven.

      We pay a monthly service fee to American home shield. I had a furnace problem. I called them, they sent a company out. American home shield charged me $100 for a deductible. The company they sent out were nothing but scammers, they said I needed a whole new furnace. They did absolutely nothing for two weeks. I called American home shield again, and they charge me another hundred dollars for another deductible and another company to come out. They said they would reimburse me a second $100,when this other company fixed my furnace. They Never reimbursed me! They kept telling me over and over that it would be in my bank account within a day or two. This has been going on for a month. They are liars! Not only do I pay a monthly fee but they also got an extra $200 out of me. Done with them! DO NOT TRUST - AMERICAN HOME SHIELD - !!!

      I have been a customer of ********************** Home ********************** since April 2018. Since then, I have had to open a few service requests. Case #1 - My water heater went up, they sent T **** Plumbing out to diagnose it and replace it. The plumbing company was horrible by the way. Case #2 eight months later, my new water heater went up due to T **** Plumbing not installing it correctly (horrible customer service). Now here we are again for Case #3 my basement flooded, I have no water. I called American Home Shield to request service and they assign me to T **** plumbing again. I explained to them that I do not wish to go with that company and to please send my service request to another company. They refused, said I had to take whoever they assign no matter my bad experience and now 3rd issue with the samething. I asked them could I pick my own contractor and they reimburse me, they again said no I have to take what they give me. I pay American Home Shield $71 per month for service and I am not able to choose who I want to come inside of my home. This is mind-blowing and down right disrespectful.
