I am contacting the BBB on behalf of my mother *****************************, there was roof damage made to the house by a hurricane. When the insurance came everything was said to be ok that everything would be taken care of, however what ended up happening was my mother had to pay for the roof to get fixed and was never reimbursed. The insurance company never came out here to take a look and said they aren't paying and it has been a back and forth battle. It has come to the point that they are no longer responding and answering why protocol was not followed and there was no reimbursement that should have happened as it was not natural wear and tear due to the natural disaster that happened that caused the specific section of roof need repair. While waiting for the money that was supposed to be coming the roof damage caused water to seep into the basement which made a chain reaction to damage the bathroom and pipes. All together an exorbitant amount of money that had to be paid because of all the damage from the roof and the roof started at $14,000 and total repairs because of the roof went to $20,000. At the end they only sent a check of $3,000 which is severely under even the $14,000 paid let alone the chain effect of damage that happened while waiting for the money that wasn't even a fraction of what was paid. We want our money for the damages caused.Initial Complaint

I was involved in a car accident where the other person rear-ended me at a stop light. This insurance company will not respond to calls or emails. They just do not respond so I havent been able to get my car repaired because Id like for their insurance to cover it versus going through my own and having to pay the deductible to be reimbursed.Initial Complaint

Encompass did an estimate for repairs on my car, which I took in for repair on 5/22. On 5/22, repair shop called Encompass for authorization to do additional repairs. Despite multiple calls and emails, no response from Encompass as of today (5/30). No one answers phone. My claim no w Encompass is 230000209-2. My adjuster is *********************. I just want Encompass to respond so I can get the car repaired and returned.Initial Complaint

My daughter got into a car accident on 11/2/22. When she was turning left into our community, the vehicle behind her suddenly went across the double yellow line to the other side, trying to pass her on the left, and hit her car on the left side. The police came and gave a fair report that the accident was the other drivers fault.From the police report, we got the information of the other drivers insurance company, Encompass, and tried to contact them. However, their adjuster ******************** never picked up calls, and he wont return calls even after we left numerous messages since November. Our car has been disabled for almost 2 months. We could not bring the car to repair because we needed to wait for their inspection. We need the car to drive, but we cannot do anything. It is very hard to believe an insurance company can be so irresponsible.
