      I used this company for moving from ** to *******. When I received my furniture I Had missing center piece of my dining table Expensive one. I was missing a professional moving dolly a ladder and 2 moving *********** I received several damages including the dining table. I am talking at least $1000 in losses without the damages. They only agreed to pay me $325, without a choice, I accepted it. It took them 4-5 months to send me a check $325 and I went to deposit it next day the bank charges me $15 for INSUFFICIENT FUNDS. Thats ridiculous. Total $340 . I think they are taking advantage of me. I need your help Please. Thanks

      Company lied about pricing. Estimate was **** when we agreed to hire them. On day of pickup, they told us that the price increase by a $1000 because of "square feet". This was on August 4th 2022. They then wanted the payment in cash only. I denied that and said I only want to pay with my debit card. They then told me that the household good would be delivered as soon as one to two weeks from pick-up. We didn't receive our goods until a month later. When our goods were delivered, the boxes were smashed, our 45 inch TV was totally destroyed, our 75 inch TV was "Lost/Stolen", our mirror was cracked, and our king size mattress has a hole in it. Also my girlfriends glass bowls were destroyed. I filed numerous complaints and I also spoke to *** at their customer service and he said I could file a claim. I sent that claim along with evidence two weeks ago and I havent heard back from them. I tried calling 5 times today and I got no response or answer. I also sent a follow up email but I have not received a response yet. I just want a reimbursement on all the destroyed and "lost" items.

      On August 4th, my household goods were picked up at my previous home location of ******************************************************** by affordable and assertive moving company. On September 2nd, we received our household goods. Upon arrival, we discovered that our mirror is cracked, our 45" TV is cracked, our dumbbells and barbell are missing and our brand new 75" TV is missing and our king sized mattress has a hole in it. I have yet to receive any word on these fairly large missing items. These items were also documented on the inventory listing on the day they were picked up. The delivery personnel also documented that the 75'' inch TV that was moved and listed is also missing upon delivery, the 45 inch TV is cracked, the mirror is cracked, 20+ boxes were smashed, and our king sized mattress has a hole in it. I've provided images of everything down below. I also have video which I can send as well. Video will not attach on this website. I've also had terrible customer service in addition to the very poor service I was provided. I would like to be reimbursed for the damages and lost goods. Please let me know how we can get this resolved or if I need to take further action.

      Received a low ball estimate initially. On day of pick up the price doubled. There was a miscommunication on their end internally and our things where never picked up and shipped from their warehouse. Affordable & Assertive Moving & Storage picked up our things on 6/18 delivery was supposed to be on 7/6 we didn't receive our things until 8/3 and they kept reiterating that this is normal and they did nothing wrong. Over the phone they said 2 weeks would be more then enough time and in the end it took nearly 50 days for delivery. The only offering to this situation was $150 off our $3800 total. and after all was said and done they failed to delivery or purposely "lost"/stole one of out 55 inch flatscreen tvs. After numerous phone calls no response to anything. They have up fake reviews tricking customers into getting new business. Fake ****** reviews and fake Home Advisors/***** list reviews to hide the horrible customer service and the horrendous things people have written about which all have the same theme and you can piece together are all true.I just want the value of my lost item replace and a full refund for the nightmare of a service they provided. And the end goal is to have all their license revoked and have them put out of business.

      It is now January 5, 2022 and I have made an attempt to call them and there has been no return call Ive also sent this review to them via email they have not responded nor have they responded to any other attempt. They have not contacted me in reference to this review the insurance company has not received a response from them either so my assumption is they are not interested in satisfying my claim. Im hoping its just an oversight on their part will keep you informed.Good morning it is December 6th 2021 still have not received my $500 in Damages for the move with against my motorcycle I don't know what's going on but it seems to me that they are not willing to accept responsibility for this incident I just received a letter from my insurance company stating that they Proximate it will take another 120 days give or take, I will keep you posted but I cannot give this company a positive response or review at this time Good morning it is now September 18th 2021 I still have not received any compensation for my damage motorcycle this has been going on since May 11th 2021 so I cannot give them any good reviews as of now because of the situation unfortunately I wish they were more expedient but it is not the case I will keep you posted Update! It is now June 26th 2021 my bike has been repaired but I have not received any money from the company as of yet I have let my insurance company handle it and hopefully they'll pay my deductible so now it's a waiting game I will keep you informed as to what transpired whether or not the company will pay my deductible.May 11 2021, affordable and assertive moving company driver and crew are polite contact person or sales person was very polite and professional, walked me through everything I cannot give it five stars at the moment because the damage sustained with my motorcycle, hopefully that will be resolved as Ive been contacted by the claims person in their company and were looking to move forward to resolve this issue

      They did a move for us from ** to ** and broke a marble top during the move. I filed a claim for damage and after a few rounds of negotiating with them accepted an offer of $400 (which was less than I wanted, but better than they originally offered) on December 4, 2021. I had not gotten a check and spoke to the operations manager on 12/27/21 who gave me all the reasons why they were late but promised the check would go out on 12/27 or 12/28. It is now 1/10/22 and still no check. I have called several times in the last 2 weeks and have gotten nothing but directed to voice mail presumably of the operations manager. They are clearly ducking me and trying to avoid paying. Your help would be appreciated.

      WATCH OUT! when doing business with ********************************************* MOVING AND STORAGE LLC. We hired this moving company for a small interstate move of pre-packed belongings based on them providing the lowest quote among several received and favorable ratings on HomeAdviser. On the day of the move, after inspecting the job and loading the truck, the driver recalculated the move making it 30%, or nearly $900, above the quote, despite the fact that there were no differences in time, volume, distance or labor from those the quote was based on. When I suggested removing the job from the truck, the driver simply told me Id have to pay for that, as well.Following the move, I contacted the office of *********************************************** Moving to discuss the large difference between the quote and the actual cost of the move. I was reminded repeatedly that the quote was just an estimate, but they could not explain why the cost would increase so much without any change in the circumstances of the job. I was told they would contact me after they had a chance to review the details of the job, but I have not received a response and am not expecting one. Persons considering doing business with this moving company should be aware that they are AFFORDABLE when providing quotes, but the ASSERTIVE part begins after your belongings are hostage on the truck.
