Terrible company. Poor communication skills and will scam you for extra money during pick up. We were in total shock when the when our move went up 7k. It was day before closing and we were stressed into their scam. we started out at 8k initial quote and ended up at 18k. I understand some increase as the move takes shape. But the increased day of move are horrendous. We packed out at 2000 cubic feet and were up charged the day of move to 2600 cubic feet. A hired laborer told us that the prime workers were trying to stretch out the load to up the move price. The prime workers became angry with him and would not help pack the truck. 9 plus hours to load 1600 square foot home. The workers argued for 20 minutes when they were done loading our house to get the one honest worker to break down the load and stretch it out. One worker just laid down on the ground multiple times all afternoon saying he had cramps. Terrible operation, beware and take your long distance move to another company.Review from Audra P

Scammers!! If they are our of **********, stay away. They had all the measurements of the boxes that needed moving and then underestimated the load size so when the truck arrives they have to charge more. Lots more. In our case $1200 which is 20% more. They also gave a window of two days and did not show up till the last minute. Very stressful having to try to make a plan B for if they did not show up at all. They count on you being stuck over a barrel so they can tack on the extra charge. Their reviews on ****** are all fake giving them 5 stars. All of the real reviews gave them 1 star.Review from Donna S

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! We moved from ******* to *****. Our belongings were in a storage, boxes and bins securely sealed, wrapped, etc. When we made arrangements with ****************************************************** we gave an inventory list, agreed to a price and were assured that Primeline WAS NOT a BROKER!! We called 3 times to verify they were a carrier-NOT A BROKER!! We made arrangements for my husband to meet a PRIMELINE driver in a PRIMELINE TRUCK at the storage to pick up our things. We were told that theyd be delivered within 4-7 days after pick up. So on 4/15/24 my husband went to our storage facility-and thats when all we were told changed!1. A man shows up in a plain white rented truck, and he wasnt a Primeline employee 2. My husband opens our storage unit-first thing the man is Its going to be another $1000 before putting ONE SINGLE THING in the truck!!3. Instead of delivering our belongings to our home in *****-they were taken to a warehouse in *********!! I was in ***** trying to call and get answers, but kept getting put on hold and hung up on!! When I finally spoke with someone they told me our belongings had to sit in their warehouse until there was another delivery by us!! We were NEVER told any of that!! The next Monday a supervisor told us our stuff was being loaded on a truck and would be delivered in a few days, and to call dispatch the next day for day and time of delivery. So we did-and waited for a call back-but no one ever called. Our belongings were picked up on April 15, 2024 and they werent delivered to us until May 7, 2024.All of our boxes and bins were opened and gone through,. We have things missing, jewelry, antiques, collectibles and even odd things like lids to pots and pans, lamp shades, the leaf to our kitchen table. We have things that are broken, furniture, our computer, a tv. We tried filling a claim with their insurance but to no avail. The young man who delivered our belongings was the only employee who was honest and respectful.Review from John G

Horrible company. Scammers. Quoted $5k for a job, went up additional $12K the week of the job. No refund of deposit. Sending a demand letter. The scope of the job did change, but had several quotes at $10K. Basically just trying to price ***** a customer because they thought they had me by the *****. Hopefully my bank can get the funds back.Review from Glenda G

Stay away from this company. They will come get your belongings and you will never see them again. We have called numerous times and got no response as to where our things are.Review from Jodi S

I guess it is a legit business, but a very dishonest one at that. I should have trusted my gut and just hung up when they called with an estimate for moving. The second guy we talked to, I believe, was either drunk or using other substances...yes I should have hung up ! But we needed help moving. We signed, with what I found out later was false information, and they will not currently give our down payment back. Do not trust this company!Review from Diane F

Prime Van Lines, and Ryder Relocations, which was the name on the truck that came to move household goods out of state, are both complete scams. On the phone, they were professional and gave a fair quote. A couple days before the move, someone who said they were in quality assurance called, and tried to get 37% more than the original estimate. We said no. When the driver showed up, before he even walked into the studio condo, he said this was going to cost us a lot more money, just based on the inventory list. We had been told we would have 286B ft.. However, he had a list that he said was from the federal DOT, that required him to calculate each item based on this list of cubic feet per item. For instance, a chair said 35 ft.. But there is a lot of variation in chairs. When I said we will measure our particular chair, he got upset and said no, that he was required to go by this list, which is a lie. He was trying to calculate cubic feet for each item, and not consider that generally movers will stack things and put boxes under a table. Instead, he said the table itself was X number of square feet and the boxes that could go underneath it would be considered additional cubic feet. His excuses got ****** and ******. Then, when I said cancel this move because I would not sign his paperwork that said I was agreeing to pay additional, he instructed his movers to keep moving furniture to the truck. He tried to hold the furniture and boxes hostage, unless I would sign the paper and pay more. I called 911, and he took the items out of the truck when the police arrived. However, based on the pictures I have, we see that he stole a couple of boxes and a moving cart from the condo, and the company is now refusing to give back the initial deposit. Now I see on the US DOT website that they do NOT Have a license effective March 25, 2024, due to lapse and insurance. So they cannot legally provide moving services at this time.Review from Erick M

Stay away from this company. There sals reps will make you promises they cannot keep. Sales rep **** specifically made a verbal agreement on a Sunday nite if this could be canceled and assured that I wouldn't be a problem. Go to cancel this and numbers blocked and he will not return calls. call the office and get a run around and told that they will not refund my deposit. Stay far away.
