Beginning May 2022, this company informed me that my furniture which i have been already waiting over a year for is now available for delivery. The company arrives with 2 men informing me that they didn't have enough man power and needed 4 men to adequately complete the job. The staff wanted me to agree to taking the risks of potentially damaging my expensive furniture due to inadequate staffing. I refused. They keep sending emails asking me to confirm which i do and they do not show up. It is now almost July and I am still waiting for furniture that has already been paid for. Communication with them have gone to no avail. Every time i call to complain i am given the runaround instead of a direct date or answer. I want the company to complete the job as directed.Business response

Hi,
Thanks for the review. However, there are multiple issues with this review and the delivery.1. First and foremost. The client did not pay the required delivery fees. Just like any other delivery company, we do not deliver any furniture without receiving the payment. We reached out to the client numerous times to collect the payment, and she said she would pay cash after the delivery was complete. We tried to explain to her many times we do not accept cash payments. Everything must be recorded and paid in advance. She did not accept it.
2. We said, in order to make the client happy, we went ahead and scheduled this delivery. One day before, we called the client and informed her that we scheduled her for the first stop of the day. On the next day, when we called her 30 min in advance to let her know we were on our way, she could not accept the delivery before 10 am. Technically the client has to adjust their schedule, but we also worked with the driver and told him to wait and go after 10 am.
3. The driver and his helper went to the building and realized the delivery instructions were missing instructions. Having said that, the furniture needed to go to the second floor. Per our 20+ year experienced driver, he said, in order to deliver this furniture on the second floor, he needed additional two men. Otherwise, due to the weight of the product, it would result in the death of the helper while carrying on the stairs in case of slip and slide. Even then, the driver did not refuse to do the delivery; instead asked her if they wanted them to try; they needed a waiver in case they needed to drop the product on the stairs if something went wrong. The client refused to sign it. Then, our driver offered to leave the furniture on the first floor or garage so they could find their own carriers and complete the job. The client also refused this offer as well.
4. We told the client that we have to reschedule this delivery in order to bring additional men power. Even though the client did not inform us about the second floor etc., this would have been the client's responsibility for us to charge an attempt fee. We waived this fee and brought the furniture back to our warehouse.
5. Since the additional men power requires paying upfront, traveling costs, etc., we are waiting for the client to reach out to us and pay the delivery fees so we can schedule her delivery.
