I applied for car insurance from AAA on the 15th of July due to my policy ending on the 14th of July. I spoke with Kirsten in May 2024 regarding a policy because my insurance company was backing out of New Jersey and 13 other states, she gave me a quote. Once I contacted AAA I spoke with Jennifer R. she expressed to get the policy signed before the 3 day grace period because it will be higher with another insurance. I told her I need to speak to my husband regarding this matter he is away so give me some time. She contacted me on Wednesday the 17th and stated I have to do the paperwork before 6 pm today in order to get coverage. I contacted Jennifer at 4 pm expressing I do not see the docusign. She resent it I signed the screen went blank everything was signed and forwarded to her. A few minutes later Kirsten emailed me expressed that **** is not going to give me coverage due to it being the 4th day which is wrong 14 to 17 is 3days. We emailed back and forth regarding this matter she apologized and said there is nothing she can do. I called and spoke with the director Louis S. he expressed he is aware of what is going on he called **** they wont do it he wrote a letter waiting on a response. He called me on Saturday the 20th they wont give me any coverage, he will try again this week. I am waiting to hear from him as the days go by. My issue is I have a lapse attached to my name which is not fair because if AAA representative would've given me the right information I would not be having this issue. It is 9 days and tomorrow makes 10 days and I don't know what to do because if motor vehicle, my job finds out I have no coverage I am in trouble. I want AAA to take accountability for what they did to me and help me resolve this issue. I need my information cleared so I can get insurance with another company or they can give me insurance due to the agents misinformed information. I need a resolution ASAP my job is on the line.

      • Dates of transaction: Jan 27- Jan. 30, then Feb 1 to Feb 5. • $3,883.10 paid. • AAA charged to diagnose an issue. Once diagnosed, I learned the trouble was much worse and would cost double what was expected - and my car is now dying. • I am disputing because the repair wasn't finished properly, as my car constantly leaks oil rapidly. (There was no issue with my oil before, and the diagnosis by AAA pointed out no problems before they began working.) They tried a second time and have only made the car worse; in two weeks, there was no response to a message left for the 'finally involved' regional manager -- who told me he went on vacation in the middle of my problem. No one else contacted me in his absence. I called 2 times 2 weeks later and left a voicemail, finally calling back almost 3 weeks later. "WORK ORDER ID" #: ********* Customer ID: **********

On Wed, February 15th, my wife contacted AAA for roadside assistance. Her car required a jump-start. She was waiting in a parking lot outside of her school. She contacted AAA at about 4:30 pm and the rep stated the wait time was 300 minutes. (Thats 5 hours!!!) Even the rep on the phone stated That cant be right. When I called to complain that they left my wife stranded in a parking lot in 22 degree weather, I got the runaround and typical customer service We are so sorry, and we understand your frustration nonsense. This is not the first time that it has taken AAA an excessive amount of time to respond for a call.Despite their claims to the contrary, my wife received no follow-up contact from AAA until 5 hours later when a driver texted to say he was on the way. Luckily, a friend was able to come over and start the vehicle after she had been there a while. AAA couldnt even bother to check in on her.AAA managers justified the wait as they always do, by saying they were very busy because of the frigid temperatures. This cold didnt catch them by surprise like a tsunami. They knew it was going to be cold.AAA is unapologetically bad. They said my wife could have called another company for service and they would reimburse up to their own limits. Thats what I pay AAA for. Stay away from AAA. They are not a service provider, they are a subscription service.

I purchased a membership from AAA. I never received a hard copy (looks like a credit card) for my membership. Only a paper copy printed. I went to the ***** facility and order one and they said it would be mailed to **** called ************ which I believe is the Northeast ** customer service number to verify that I will be recieving it since my visit to the ***** office was unpleasant. The woman on this line contacted the ******************* and came back on the line and told me that I would not be recieving this throught the mail saying that AAA no longer provides these cards,'Why would the ***** facilty tell me I will be getting it in the mail? Why would Northeast ** customer service say they no longer do this. I believe customer service is not telling the truth.

December 14, 2022. We called *** as my daughter who is visiting from ******* has a car here and the battery was dead. *** sent out someone with no experience in batteries and put a battery in them. Her car that would've ruined her car I called Audi. They said to get the battery out. I tried calling *** numerous times to get the *** battery back. no one at *** answered the phone or even left a message. Return my call weeks later, I got a call from *** who said the batteries were dumped every Friday I could not get credit from Audi for the battery. We never got a receipt from the driver on the 14th for the battery he put in the car, so I had no idea who to call and *** never answer their phone I wrote a letter to the president of *** with no response. I got an email from *** stating now he wants a letter from the mechanic with a receipt that he put the battery in last year after he sold the car to my daughter I do not believe he has any paperwork for the work he did on the car. The point being is if *** answered their phone the next day, I would've gotten the name of the *** representative who came out and put the wrong battery in the car in order to get the *** battery back for credit but it was weeks later before I got a return call from ***, now they want proof of when the last battery was installed I could pull all my phone bills I was on hold for 16 minutes, 20 minutes, 30 minutes, waiting for someone to pick up from *** in order to find out who came to service the car on the 14th but no one answered ! And the president of *** didn't even have the decency to respond to my letter! I am demanding credit for the return of the *** battery that is due and owing to me because of *** failure to return my phone call or answer the call Furthermore, I don't know why you did not receive my first complaint I had everything in there, and was wondering why I never got an answer from BBB and have to resubmit it

      Complaint: 19495518

I am rejecting this response because:

I have been in contact with AAA since December 15, 2022 regarding the return of the *** battery. It took weeks and weeks for someone to call me who suggested I speak to a customer supervisor who turned out to be *** or cola but I had written a letter to the president of AAA, who did not even have the decency to respond to my letter or have somebody call me. *** wanted proof of the battery that was in her car. I gave it to him now all of a sudden he talk to upper management and they want proof of the battery that was installed in 2022 if AAA had returned my phone call or even picked up the phone when I was calling instead of being on hold for 16 minutes, 22 minutes, 30 minutes, and then having to hang up I would have that *** battery back and I would have the credit from Aldi for the battery that died in my car because AAA sold to unaware females a battery that did not belong in the car. And I have yet to receive a response from AAA when I wrote back asking. If I didn't get the credit for the battery, I asked for a one year free subscription to AAA. They have never acknowledged anything. They are trying to brush it under the carpet because they sent out somebody who is inexperienced, knew nothing about batteries, and sold to unsuspecting females a battery that did not belong in the car.

      Regards,

I bought a membership from AAA in June 2022 a plus membership. I requested a tow on December 26 at 10 in the morning and at 2 o'clock in the afternoon I was contacted by a towing vendor that said he could not tow me and he had no drivers. When I contacted AAA and requested a reimbursement for the insurance that I purchased through them they told me that a reimbursement was not possible. So they have taken my money, sold me an insurance policy, refused to provide service and refused to reimburse. They also canceled me today December 27 via email for complaining.
