I contacted Greg at the Meineke location in Pleasantville because my OBD scanner read that both of my catalytic converters were below threshold. January 2024 I brought my Saturn Outlook XR AWD to Greg in which he confirmed the diagnosis. Greg threw a price at me without even inspecting my vehicle before replacing these parts. Not only did he do this, but when he replaced the parts without inspecting. (I have an exhaust leak) he Did did not seal bank one converter correctly (Didn’t know this at the time). I placed a call out to Greg after my car was supposedly fixed telling him my check engine light came back OBD scanner reading bank 1 catalytic converter below threshold, he told me to bring it in which I did. He hooked his OBD scanner up to my vehicle. It had the same error code. He told me it was probably my computer…It was not my Computer. Greg reset my vehicle, texted me my vehicle was ready which I had to Uber back to him for nothing to have been done. This was not the first time this was many times I contacted him to fix the problem which wasn’t fixed so I wrote a bad review and he responded to go back to him. I did not trust him at this point so I contacted corporate office which has still not gotten back to me to this day! At this point, I drove it to the Lumberton Route 38 location in May 2024. That is where I found out that I have an exhaust leak and that Greg did not even put the catalytic converters on correctly, at least in bank one in the front of the engine. I was informed that the car should have been inspected and diagnosed with an exhaust leak and that should have been fixed before brand new catalytic converters were put in my vehicle. To this day, my check engine light comes on constantly the problem is not solved and I would like my exhaust leak fixed free of charge before my catalytic converters are ruined.
