He dint know how much he relieved the stress that this would be a repeat of the shake down artist from yesterday.. He took care of my belongings with respect and orfanized the unit so you could see and get what you needed without climbing the unknown mountain of stuff!! Thank you *** you did a great job for me. Terrible experience. Pick up went smoothly, delivery was late and many items damaged. Delivery was from ** to *******. Arrival in ******* was delivered by one man who refused to inventory and stacked all items against a wall. I showed him crushed bin tops, Fragile marked boxes crushed and he said dont worry you are insured and they will cover the damage. I put claim in for Hundreds of Dollars and was told they will pay $79 only. Even my Tortoise tank was shattered, items purchased over 10 yrs ago and irreplaceable damaged. I was appalled by this. Rep. I spoke with originally to set up my pick up and delivery has never ever returned a call or email. This is just unacceptable. First and foremost I explained that I had a special needs child and that this had to go smoothly, I was promised over and over again. The stress this caused me and my son is just unforgiveable. I will not ever recommend this company!!!!!

Horrible! Horrible! Horrible! The only words to describe this company...except rude, dishonest and disorganized! Same as all the reviews...bait and switch. Sent one driver to deliver furniture. When the furniture came I was charged an additional fee for stairs (10 steps) and a long haul fee - not sure where the "long haul carry" was because he parked in front of the house...but I needed the stuff so I paid the money. The driver refused to take the stuff off the truck until I paid him the money in cash or zelle. All employees in this company are rude and have no idea what is going on...they promise delivery of your stuff...then it doesn't come..you call and they say they have no record of speaking with you! When you question what is going on they become irate and rude. Please save your money....use a reputable company! This company is terrible! Believe the reviews!

Awful! The worst! Save your money! We moved from ** to **, what a joke. When they picked up the furniture everything was great. When it arrived in ******* a very different story. Knowing the new place was on the 3rd floor with no elevator they sent just a driver. You could hear the ** stand a mile away as he bounced it off every stair. What a shocker when he unwrapped it, it was broken. He told me it was fine because I had insurance, he also blamed the guys that picked it up.Moving on to the dresser, I don't know if it's broken because it never showed. No clue where it is. Next the couch, he saved this for last (so I'm sure he was tired). He showed ** in our doorway and said it won't fit up the stairs. He would leave it outside. He told me to call a company out of ** and they would be here in 15 to 20 mins (very impressive coming from **). He told me he didn't know the name of the company but I could just ****** it. At that point he held out his hand waiting for a tip. When I spoke to the dispatcher he seemed more upset about his moving blankets being left on the couch here. The company has been radio silent since.Since then we purchased a new couch (a bigger couch) it was delivered the next day with no problems. Also purchased a new ** stand and dresser also no problems. The one star is a ??

I booked the move for my daughter from ********** back down to ******* back in March of 2020. This was booked thru Eagle Moving in *************, *******. Little did I know that this job was to be pushed over to another moving company. As scheduled the very small amount of items were picked up on Monday August 23, 2021. It consisted of two small boxes labeled on all 4 sides inside and out, a queen size bedroom set that was all of 5 months old, purchased in Sept of 2019,prepandemic. A coffee table and two side tables, A very small amount of items. Not an entire household. After waiting over a month, the items were finally delivered on Thursday night September 30th. I would like it noted that the delivery man, although very nice asked for the final payment, which is in cash, while standing in my driveway??!!! After the small amount of items were delivered it was discovered that one box and the matching mirror that goes attached to the dresser were missing. Really??!!!!!! The driver named Demetrie stated that the items were either, left in the warehouse in **, they were delivered to someone else in error, or that the items were lost/damaged somewhere. Anyways, I was advised to call Affordable Moving the next day which I did. (October 1st 2021) . I spoke with a ***** who advised me to give it 3-5 business days. On Monday the October4th, I received a claim form in my email box from some company regarding submitting a claim for the lost items! Keep in mind, I had many questions at this point! What happened to looking in the warehouse? Checking to see if they were delivered to someone in error?? So many questions!!! On Tuesday the 5th I submitted the claim form. On Wednesday the 6th I called Affordable and had the horrible experience to speak to some vile human being, who claimed to be the manager named ***. He repeatedly interrupted me. He had no regard for the missing items. He would not allow me to ask any questions, screamed at me on the phone, SWORE at me and then had the **** to hang up on me!!!! Are you kidding me!! You all have just lost my daughters items. I received absolutely no sympathy,no phone call,no email message from the company responsible and your going to swear at me????? Of course I phoned back 3 times and it conveniently went to voicemail, which I'm sure he was monitoring. I purposely let several days go by to see if anyone would contact me from Affordable Moving. I'm still waiting for a phone call /email!!!!!Disgusting vile behavior! I phoned this company back on Tuesday October 12th, spoke to ***** again. I asked for the phone number for the owner of the company, she refused to give it to **** asked for his email, and she said its the main email address for the company.! What kind of an company treats their customers like garbage and has not the dignity or respect to phone me or email me on the update regarding my daughters items????? They could care less, they have their money and told me its in the hands of the claim company.!! I have yet to receive an apology for the inconvenience or the horrible way I was spoken to on the phone by that POS named ***. My next email will be to the owner of this horrible company. Do yourself a favor, DO NOT hire this company to move your belongings.

I am filing a complaint against ******************************************************** because of their questionable business practices, unprofessional and insulting subcontractors (East Coast Van Lines), who prey on the inexperience and vulnerability of their customers in need of their services. I hired ********************************* as my moving brokers to help transport my belongings from ********** to Georgia. The process seemed pretty seamless initially until the week leading up to the move when East Coast Van Lines got involved. The issue arose when I updated my inventory list (confirmed by the broker and signed by me) that the movers did not have when they arrived. The mover (the only one that actually spoke English) stated that he was not informed of the update. The inventory list consisted of 32 items totaling (297 cu ft); I shipped 35 items. Of those 35 items were my coffee table, which counted as two because the glass top had to be separated and my armoire was too tall and had to be separated into two items as well. In addition, I planned for 10 large boxes and 10 medium boxes to be shipped. I only used 10 large and 4 medium boxes so I added 2 wardrobe boxes and another item or two. I thought swapping them out wouldnt be an issue because I was being charged for 20 boxes anyway. According to the movers, I used an additional 175 cu ft with my shipment totally an extra $1000. When I reviewed the paper work my items were already downstairs on the *********** needed to be out of the apartment the following morning. I must admit I was a bit distracted and overwhelmed so I really didnt notice the increase in price on the paperwork especially since I only paid the price agreed upon prior to the move. It was not until I received the paperwork via email and noticed that an amount had be filled in, which was blank on the document I signed. I called and complained because I was upset that he filled in the amount after I signed it and because I did not understand why the upcharge was so expensive. I was told I used additional space and needed to take it up with the carrier. Fast forward to 2 weeks later, I get a call on Sunday, Sept. 12th at 8:34 am that my shipment would be in around 5-6pm that day and that I had to pay the remaining balance of in cash or money order. Please note it was a Sunday and all banks were closed. I expressed that I had an issue with the price, but okayed the delivery. Around 2 hours later I received a call from xxx-xxx-xxxx (nameless guy) from East Coast Van Lines calling about my concerns. I told him I disagreed with the price because I didnt understand how I exceeded the space by so much when I only added a few more items. In an annoyed and condescending tone, he told me the amount of items dont matter its the size. He too, like the movers, did not speak clear English (He was Russian or Ukrainian) and grew increasingly rude and disrespectful as the conversation went on because I didnt understand his reasoning. He proceeded to say stop wasting his time, do I have the money. I was told I had to pay before seeing if all my items were accounted for. He also said you people always do this, you think no matter how much you bring the price wont go up, you want to do things your way and its not going to be your way. He went on to say that it was not his company, nor his money and he did not care if I got my stuff or not. This went on for about 10 minutes before I decided to hang up the phone on him. I was completely disgusted that someone was so comfortable disrespecting a woman/customer who just spend over $3000 with their company. An experience that was supposed to be exciting and joyful turned into a costly nightmare. Despite my disagreement with the total and the loop holes within the contract, I never had any intentions on not paying. However, I should be given the opportunity to ensure all my items are accounted for before paying. I believe that even if I did not add anything extra to the inventory list I STILL would have gone over the allotted space because it was originally too small to begin with. They know very few people understand square footage and cannot prove the actual size of the shipment so they prey on that. In addition, during the move the mirror on my armoire was cracked and the 1 fragile box I had was loaded at the bottom of the shipment was damaged. I contacted Budget/East Coast Van lines about the damage on Monday, Sept 13 and have yet to receive a response. Never in life will I utilize a moving company again and will inform anyone I know about my moving experience with Budget *** ************************************************ I will be filing a complaint against the company and their disrespectful employee.
