I purchased a car with a 30 day warranty on January 11, 2022. Today I brought the car back for other warranty work involving the tire pressure sensor and the horn. I also told them about a knock when turning, They accused me of having an accident with the car (although there is no damage) and refuse to honor the warranty. I called the police when the situation became heated. The owner of the dealership told the police and my son that I must have had an accident that caused damage to the left control arm. I NEVER mentioned which control arm, leading me to believe they had prior knowledge of the LEFT control arm issue. They offered to fix it at cost even though the car is under warranty. They pointed to scratches above the left quarter panel as proof of an accident but I pointed these scratches out BEFORE purchasing the car and was told by the owners son **** that their detailer was out sick with COVID and upon his return they would buff out the scratches. I do intend to file a complaint with Consumer Affairs and will file a civil lawsuit unless the issue is resolved and the warranty is honored. Police report will not be available for 6 to 10 days so I cannot upload it. All supporting documents are in car glove box which is currently at the dealership.
