For budget reasons, I use hair salon services every two months. The dates of service where I actually went to the salon are April 14, 2022; June 9, 2022; August 18, 2022; November 15, 2022; and January 30, 2023. For those visits I saw three separate stylists. On March 31, 2023, while going over my bank records for 2022 taxes, I noticed charges for three visits to Lisa Thomas Salon that I did not make. Those dates created a near monthly record of salon visits; the disputed dates and charges are July 14, 2022 for $54.99; September 30, 2022 for $54.99; and December 20, 2022 $64.33. The fraudulent charges total $174.31. I always pay by a debit/credit card. I immediately contacted my credit union, but because the charges were not within the 60 day time limit for dispute, I could not get my credit union to refund the charges. Next, I called Lisa Thomas Salon and asked to speak to the owner, *********************, about fraudulent charges. She called me back promptly, but when I told her about the fraudlent charges, she denied they "were not possible" under their "system." She did NOT say she would look into the matter because there were records of my "appointments," including the disputed ones, so she denied the theft. Of course, if there was inside theft, appointments would have been created. I was left losing the $174.31, with the implication that I was lying. She never called back. I cancelled my remaining appointment, and cancelled my debit/credit card.

I researched all my records. We have the customer

in our computer booked for all the dates.
It shows it was cashed out and paid with her credit card.

we do not keep credit card information in our records. We just keep their name and

phone number. I will go back to my CC log from back in 2022

and show her the signature on the  CC receipt
