Dear BBB: About the Complaint ******** submitted on 7/27/2022, This customer purchased a set of 4 wheels brand new in boxes, installation non included, customer was responsible for the installation, after 2 months the customer come back making reference that the rims were damaged, why he doesnt come back 1 or 2 days after the rims installation? after a visual inspection the rims looks abused, it's clear that two wheels of one side were impacted causing critical damaged on it. There are a few different ways that the wheels can get damaged while being mounted. The first is what I call a head drag. The mounting head is the part that guides the tire sidewall over the lip of the wheel, and so it must lock in place very close to the wheel lip, while not quite close enough to touch. Some tire sidewalls, particularly on stiff low-profile tires, can exert enough force to flex the head and cause it to touch the wheel, dragging the surface as the wheel turns on the mounter. If the tire tech doesn't notice, this will cause a long scrape against the outer edge of the finish that is quite similar to what we call curb rash, the damage caused by brushing up against a curb. The second major cause of damage and honestly one of the most likely causes of rim damage is working with tires that are too low for the roughness of the road. Every time you go over a bump, the springiness of well-inflated tires absorbs that bump and keeps the hard metal of the inner wheel and rim safe. If your tires are flat or if your tire profile is too thin for the roads in question, then the bounce factor wont be enough to absorb the impact and something hard is likely to hit your rims. In most cases, a bent wheel happens when your tire impacts potholes, curbs, road hazards, or after an accident. Since your tires are made of rubber and filled with air, they often take the brunt of the impact. However, if the impact is so severe that it displaces the rubber and air, your wheel or rim will take the hit's force causing structural damage such as bends to the inner and outer lip. This condition is especially common on low profile tires where there is less cushioning available from the tire due to the shorter sidewall of a low-profile tire. Warranties cover problems the manufacturer considers defects and kick in when a component doesn't live up to reasonable expectations. So, they don't cover damage from accidents.

I am rejecting this response because: they are not telling the whole side of the story!
its my fault for not reading the complaints and reviews this company has. Its not the first nor will it be the last time they sell damaged goods. We spent $1000 there and my son who is 18 made the purchase they knowingly sold him bent rims I would understand one of them being bent but both??? Really they should be covered under the manufacture warranty and they were so rude when we asked how we can solve this issue. It was his first big purchase and they knowing screwed him. Please go through their ****** reviews and you will see I am not the first person they have done this too. They take no responsibility for the damaged products they sell. Terrible terrible its all about money for them. I too am in sakes and never would I treat a customer the way they have treated myself or my son. They can try and say or try and prove what they want but the fact of the matter is we werent even here for the 3 weeks in question we were out of the country and when he went to ********* to have them installed he went back and they were trying to figure out the issue they did the balancing 2x thinking it may be that when we got back from vacation he took it to another shop and they are the ones who said the rims are bent and they are bent in the middle not something a pot hole or whatever they are claiming it is its both rims they are scammers and I want this company researched and make it known that they are scammers. They sell damaged goods willingly and knowingly thats illegal
Regards,
